It was late evening visit to the place and not many seats were occupied… I had my own doubt if it’s the same PKM chain I had visited in Velachery few years ago… alas pre covid office lunches… We were greeted and welcomed like relatives.. The 1. mutton soup which we ordered reached us much more faster than we expected…what a welcoming soup it was…. Very soothing for the throat and the climate…accompanying the soup was 2. Kola Urundai… right one size and hot it was… much more than the expected….next came our 3. Mutton Idicha Kari…wow… these were boneless mutton pieces in so called perfect chettinad style, by the time we got our 4. Plain biriyani and accompanying that were 4a. mutton gravy and 4b. nattu kozhi gravy and 4c. karuvattu thokku…. 5. Egg Omlette, 6. Chicken Omlette and 7. Chicken Kari dosai made it to our banana leaf…by the time my wife had three refills of nattu kozhi thokku and my sister asking for Karuvattu thokku…while Sakthi was stationed near our table. Bala was running between kitchen and table getting us the piping hot food. Sakthi and Bala were taking turns in asking if we wanted anything more and the way the served us, made us eat more than our normal…8. Mutton Kizhi parotta and 9. Bun parotta were too much to occupy… hence made a wise decision to take away… For the finishing touch and Sakthi’s request we had one Karandi of rice and rasam…

Good ambience and service. Meals are always with combos. i.e.,. meal always is tagged with a starter and you don't have an option for ordering just a meal (without starters). So the combo price shoots up. However the starters are good. I ordered mutton kola meals and prawn meals. Mutton kola was awesome. And staff were really kind and taking individual care of the customers. Karuvadu thokku which comes along with the meals was fantastic.. I really got 3-4 times repeatedly:) Chicken and mutton kolambu taste was good but can be reduced on their aromatic spices. Beeda was extra charge which I did not expect.. Staircase leading to the hotel can be maintained better.

First of all, this place serves food in good quality. The only drawback is the quantity they are serving. It's overpriced when u see the quantity of the sides they serve. We ordered mutton liver, sura puttu, prawn masala as sides which is very very less in quality. Also the meals are above 400 bucks which is also a flaw. But taste wise everything is great. Service is good too. Do visit.

Frankly speaking the owner himself is worse here. We ordered two meals n two plain biryani which was given in the menu card. They neglected the plain Biriyani stating, “ we can’t waste pieces” then why did they mention plain biryani worth 179 on menu card?! 7 varieties of gravies is a scam in here. I asked them why aren’t there prawns in the gravy and he mentioned it’s expensive to serve whole prawns to the crowd. If so why do you charge 489 per meal?! You should be brought to light and case must be filed on such people. He has the guts to say these to the customers and mentioned, “ ithu unga opinion athuku naan edum pannamudiyuathu “. Toxic place, doesn’t do the justice for the money paid and the owner as well as servers are like ventures around dead body. Feeding on customer money.

It was my mother in laws birthday and she likes to eat meals thats the only reason we went to this place. It started of good with the paruppu podi and hot ghee but the next on line was chicken gravy but i ended up getting cockroach gravy. When i took this matter to the manager in return all i got was a sorry, the meals cost around 550 they dint even bother to compensate for quality of food they provided. There is no difference in taste between the gravies, the prawn gravy tasted like tomato tokku only the crab and the fish gravy had pieces in them, for the cost they are charging they could also provide quality food. Only thing good about this place is service! So anyone looking to have a good meal please dont visit here and waste your time, money and taste.

utter waste of time and definitely the poorest ever service in every sense. very bad food and worthless. In addition they serve all left over shamelessly instead of closing the restaurant beyond service time. Further they throw bill before you finish dining.

My first ever review and didn’t expect to be a complain. Regret visiting with my family. Terrible service. Poor food potion’s. I don’t recommend to anyone.

Hands down this is the most overrated shop in entire Chennai.... Quality is poor and about quantity it's an utter joke.Frustrated there is no Zero star option

Worst food and not facility to give 0 star. In clean ambiance. Only thing worth mentioning is the servers who are good. Don’t ever try to step in
