One of the best places for authentic chetinadu fare. Went today with two friends. We had chicken biryani, mutton sukka meals, chicken omlette, mutton omlette, brain fry, chicken 65. Portions were quite good. Taste was fabulous and fantastic. Ambience was very unique. Most importantly, the staff were very courteous and welcoming. A must visit if you want to try proper non veg south Indian food. The mutton omlette was the best I have ever had.

I went there twice in two days. As a northerner and an ignoramus when it comes to Chettinad food, I was very unsure of what to expect. Was blown away by the raw mango fish curry. I was served a couple of other curries and they were distinct and excellent. Highly recommended.

High priced and over rated. So called vanjaram fish was definitely not vanjaram, its vanjaram like vanjaram fish. In 400 rs priced non veg meals We got only two veg sides and one karuvad side and rice and 2 non veg gravy which was absolutely so over priced and not so authentic !! Chicken Biriyani was 250 it jus felt like they mixed gravy in white rice and gave. Im really wondering how its 4+ rated ?!!

No Chennai briyani lovers will appreciate this style , have tried there outlet in pondicherry (think it's the same franchise ) but the briyani there was better than the masala rice here. If your a briyani lover then its better to have meals or ghee rice.

Looking at the reviews online and their scrumptious menu, I visited this place with my father yesterday. We ordered mutton sukka meals and pattukottai naatu koli meals along with karandi omelette and two fish fry. Fish fry and karandi omelette was good and no complaints about it. However, meals comes with seven varieties of curry namely chicken, mutton, fish, crab, kaadai, prawn and naatu kozhi. Mutton sukka was not well cooked and it was hard to chew. Pattukottai Naatu kozhi doesn’t even taste like naatu kozhi. It was in the taste of broiler. Fish curry and prawn thokku were good to eat. Rest of them not even upto the decent taste level. If you are someone who eat less quality of rice, please do not choose meals menu. It’s better to go with separate dishes. We paid 1500INR for two people and we were not satisfied with the food quality. Staff were extremely polite and courteous.

Firstly Vegetarians skip this restaurant without 2nd thought. You have only Vegetarian Meals which only has Unlimited Rice, Kottu, Poriyal, Sambar, Rasam, Curd, Papad, Bonda and 500ml Water Bottle. In Non Vegetarian Meals, You can choose one non veg starter and 7 varieties of non-veg gravies (Chicken, Kaadai, Prawn, Naattu Kozhi, Crab, Mutton & Fish) will be served along with Unlimited Rice, Kottu, Poriyal, Rasam, Butter Milk, Curd, Karuvadu Thokku and 500ml Water Bottle. The starter which comes with Non Veg meals are extremely less in portion. In terms of taste, 3/7 gravies tasted like Tomato Gravy which was extremely disappointing.

food was terrible, it's not naatu kozhu wat they say n serve. all sea food items are frozen food not fresh. veg sides were half cooked n worst in taste.
