we enjoyed lovely early dinner in nippon express .We had shyabu shyabu and it was amazing . The cost was also not so high . we were travelling to pune from Chennai ,and got some time slots in Chennai . Enjoyed the evening with a variety of food at nippon express. Finally the ambience and hygiene are maintained well like Japan .

The food was amazing for the price that I paid. It was authentic. I would definitely go again to enjoy much more deliciousness of the Japanese cuisine. I had a variety of dishes which included Dashimaki Tamago. It was one of the best among all that I had.

I love Japanese cuisine. Should say it’s my favourite right after Thai and Italian. It’s my 2nd visit to Nippon Mom loved their food, alongside my sister. Food was absolutely phenomenal service was exceptionally great

I lived in Japan for quite long time, this place is very cozy and quite like my home in Japan. the food is authentic aanad delicious. my absolutely favorite.

I have been a regular to this place, as my client's are S. asians. the food here is quick but average meets a basic quick dinner or lunch option. last Sunday 22nd March 2026 i was ther for dinner and of course I explained myself the order as the dishes here are hard to order straight from the menu. the staff mistook my order despite being very clear of my request. the order I placed was a salmon roll. I know this staff well as we keep going to this place often. she acted funnny and rude from the beignnig. wierd but we proceeded further with order. 1 misso soup 1 chicken teriyaki 1 chicken barbeque a hot plate dish. not sure of the version they tag in the menu. 1 salmon roll . specifically mentioned I used to order a roll without cucumber and crab stick. she said its called spicy roll. I said as long as you understood we are okay. misso soup done sushi roll arrived and served by a different person. surprised. I said this does not look like the roll I usually order. she too it back. then comes the star of the show. a rude loud service staff putting us in a spot on the order we made. it was quite embarrassing to be taken granted for a mistaken order. infact I would have still eaten it if she was polite. uff the tone and her atrocity to our a regular customer took me to a surprise and we felt really odd and embarrassed. later after learning about this place. this restaurant is run by a owner from Delhi and he does a remote ops. 👍 God job to an extent. I feel the lack of concentration over Indian customers by our friendly Indian north eastern service friends are taken to a new level of experience. I will never visit this place again and will discourage all my clients who I referred to got here for a good meal. since last year. absolut nonsense behaviour by the staff here. only white Asians are treated well here. I felt racist service by the staff here. if I do not get a response an apology. I have something more to reveal about this place.
