The chicken miso coconut ramen is amazing! 9/10 The udon truffle mushroom noodles is definitely a must try. Has a subtle yet unique flavour. We tried the spiced pineapple kakigori as well, that was a 7/10.

This review has been long overdue, and I’ve truly been looking forward to writing it! Oji Ramen is hands down my favourite spot for ramen in Chennai and honestly, I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve visited. From the very first bowl to the most recent, the ramen has consistently hit the spot. It’s comfort, flavour, and authenticity in every bite. Beyond just ramen, they’ve been upping their game with new additions like rice bowls and an ice-based dessert that totally surprised me - I’d been hoping they would step up the dessert game, and they definitely delivered. Would love to see more creative dishes, Japanese-inspired mocktails, and delicious desserts in the future. But please, don’t ever change the ramen recipe or the service - both are just perfect. Count me in as a loyal regular (because I already am). Here’s to many more comforting, slurpy visits. Cheers, team Oji!

The food was subpar. I ordered three items from the menu and I could only consume 1 ( I.e. Ramen). The service was not very good either. Would not be recommending this place.

Best in town for ramen and kimchi flavour. The subtle ambience and theme gives us the connection to the japanese cozy.

The place is small and has limited seating so I would recommend calling prior to visiting as there may be a waiting time of 15 minutes or more. The food is amazing, I especially recommend the Truffle Butter Udon Mushroom and Veg Gyoza!

The food is DELICIOUS. You cant miss out on their gyozas and their new Truffle Butter Udon noodles. Thanked the chef twice for that dish.

It’s a cozy place with limited seating capacity, but surely one of the best spots that serves Japanese cuisine. Here’s what we ordered: Chicken Gyoza - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Oji’s Special Mix Ramen - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Oji’s Pork Ramen - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The portions of ramen were generous and very filling. This is my second visit, and once again, I ended up at the same small table as last time. With all the tables occupied on both occasions, so make sure to call and reserve in advance before you visit.

Such a cozy and cute place! Fell in love with it at first sight! Have had the ramen many times in the past and my family and I totally love it! Had the gyoza, fried rice and the teriyaki oyster mushrooms this time!! Came out with a heart so happy and a tummy so full, can’t wait to go back! ❤️

Been here quite a few times and the food was wonderful! Great service and good options for vegetarians too!
