Had brunch at this place for the first time, and totally loved the quality food. The dosa was crispy and fresh, sambar was very tasty, so was the coconut chutney. Thumbs up!

Went there to get a takeaway. Asked for 6 pieces of idlis/3 sets. They billed me for 3 sets of Sambar Idlis. When I received the order, the idlis and Sambar were given separately. When asked why, the person there said they can’t provide both together; “That’s our practice”. I asked as to why bill for Sambar idli then, he said that was you get more Sambar. When I asked why did they not inform me of this when billing, he again said “You get more Sambar. That’s our practice”! Nice job of swindling. Good practice. P.S. When tried to reach out to the feedback address provided on the bill, “feedback@triplicaneratna.com”, received a “Message blocked” and “recipient address rejected” message.

Recently Ratna cafe Dishes were becoming very poor in quality and quantity. serving sambar and chutney also very few quantities not enough for ordered quantity. 😡😡😡😡

Ate here thrice Plus Have ordered from here 4 times and it's been a disappointment every single time! The taste is average. I don't really understand the hype. SANGEETHA is sooo much better then this place. They're just trying to live off of some random nostalgia that people had for triplicane. The pongal tastes so plain. And so is the vadai. Whenever I order in - The dosais always come in like they were made and left out. They're hard and not even slightly warm at all (even though I live 1km away and use quick delivery) I do get my food in 10 mins, so it makes me suspect that maybe the dosais are not made fresh on order because no way is my dosai cooling down and become so hard and rough within like 5 to 6 mins. Even the packaging is very sad. Feels like I've ordered from a smaller stall on the road Very less quantity of chutneys given. I've always had to pay extra. On the contrary, Adyar Ananda Bhavan charges similar prices and are far far better! I've ordered at least 3 to 4 times a week from there and they're so much better. Every single items tastes superior I really hope this outlet improves their delivery food! It's horrible. Their in-house dining is pretty sad too. I wish all those cars that park here drive 500m ahead of Ananda Bhavan, or go further into Besant Nagar and try out some smaller places there

Please avoid, Don't waste your time and money. Don't spoil your health. They are most irresponsible. Their aim is only to dodge customers and make quick and big profit. They are attracting customers with the brand Ratna Cafe ,but taking you for a ride once you enter to have food. You will feel terribly cheated. Please avoid.

Horrible customer experience. I had placed a takeout order for around 500₹. They couldn’t give us the required amount of chutney and sambar, even after asking for it. Very much disappointed

If you have any kind of taste for good food you wouldn’t step into this place. They charge 110 for ghee roast but god only knows where ghee is or roast is. Terrible food. Terrible management.

It's totally waste of money.. No response.. No taste & quality.. High cost but not satisfied.. Totally very upset..
