I've heard a lot of feedback about this chain and never managed to visit whenever we visited Chennai. Drove past their St.Mary's Rd outlet and no second thoughts but to stop over for a bite. The setting / ambience wasn't convincing but that never really bothered much. With the wife and kids, we randomly ordered a variety of sandwich from basic bread omelette to brownie ice cream sandwich to noodles sandwich and many more. The spinach sandwich was my most favourite if I have to single out something. Loved the food and definitely wanting to go back for more. A must visit to any one of their branches. Cheers!

As I enter this eating place on Friday afternoon,it's already busy with food delivery guys from various food apps taking back to back ,and can make out how popular this joint is for sandwiches. My order is simple cheese corn chicken sandwich n 1 drink, here it goes sandwich well prepared as u want for ur taste to adjust to it,n drink was good n refreshing. And finally the bill comes to 100,that is it.

The 1-line summary: While the place serves decent sandwiches, the taste is not as good as the TTK road branch. Pricing is value-for-money. Recommend takeaway/delivery only. The rating: Food: 3.6/5. VFM: 5/5. Ambience & Service: 3/5 (Score for service only, the place is too small to rate on ambience.) The details: I have already reviewed the TTK branch of this chain in detail; the TTK road branch is also their best-rated branch. So to make things easy, this review is a side-by-side comparison with the TTK Road branch. By the way, these branches are barely 500m apart. The menu here is not as extensive as the TTK Road branch. More importantly the taste of the sandwiches, while decent, is not as good as the other branch. I had ordered 4 sandwiches - all of them were bland, and could have used with more salt and spice (maybe the staff at this place are very health conscious :-)). Also, the filling was very less, and confined to the center of the sandwich; the edges of the sandwich had absolutely no filling and it felt like eating plain bread. IMO, in a perfect sandwich, the filling should cover every inch of the bread right till the edges. The paneer mayo sandwich had only a few pieces of paneer, it was more onion sandwich. The panini chicken had a lot of meat filling, but was bland. The bread omelet cheese masala was ok. I find it hard to believe that 2 branches of the same establishment located so close to each other could vary so much in quality.   While it can seat 6-8 people, the place is very small & opens right onto the road, so opt for delivery/takeaway.

Told this place was one of the oldest place for sandwiches. Ambiance was bright with all the reviews that they got are displayed on the walls. Bread omblete moyo , thousand island chicken moyo were good. Mixed chocolate moyo was not good .French fries were worst. Not as we expected. Visited around 8:45 but said only one chicken sandwich was available. Price very nominal. Visited 19/07/2022

I ordered from royal sandwich alwarpet St.marys , I ordered 10 items and got 9. Not the best service. The delivery agent asked me to pay for the rest. He didn't even want to go back and get it. I went to the Adyar and their service was the best. I didn't expect this from both royal sandwich and Zomato.

I went here for a quick-bite keeping the taste of sandwiches from Royal Sandwich, Kotturpuram in mind. Boy, was I in for disappointment! My friend and I ordered Chicken Lays Cheese and Omelette Chicken Mayo. There were scanty shreds of chicken in both the sandwiches and the omelette was too salty. The drinks and the ambience were the only consolation.
