Staff were polite and hospitality was good. Food- some dishes were really nice like the galouti kebab, others were pretty decent. Ambience was also good. Good place, would recommend

Tried Salt Indian Restaurant on the second floor of Nexus Mall, Vadapalani, and the experience was a bit disappointing. Their Zomato platform mention a 11 AM opening, but in reality, they start only around 12:30 PM. When we pointed it out, the explanation was staff briefing which honestly should be sorted before opening hours, not during. The online menu also doesn’t match what’s actually available, which can be frustrating if you’re planning your order in advance in terms of the buffet. Another letdown was the service. There was a visible argument between staff right in front of us while we were dining, which took away from the whole experience. Small things like my cutlery being cleared midway, just to make space, felt careless and unnecessary. That said, the food itself was good. The kozhi rasam, naan, lasooni paneer, and chicken kebab platter were all well done and enjoyable. It’s just that the overall vibe and service didn’t match the quality of the food. I’d probably stick to takeaways or ordering in from here, just to avoid the in-house experience. The food has potential, but the service definitely needs work there’s always room for improvement.

The food was not up to the mark compared to the price paid .The double choco hazelnut milkshake was too sugary and that can be noted for improvement. The service was excellent. Had visited the place before aswell, but this time it didn't have the Spark.
