One of the best dining place in Chennai . The ambiance and taste are too good . Parking is little tough despite of valet availability due to heavy traffic zone . Price is little high .

Where should I start? Everything that could go wrong in a restaurant went wrong. We went inside the restaurant. We were seated in a table and for the first 10 min no one even bothered to come and ask what we wanted. We were two people. We ordered a crab meat soup, a chicken spring roll, chilly prawns and chicken fried rice. The crab soup smelled like fish market. When I let the waiter know about this, he wasn’t ready to change it. He said since it was frozen crab, it does taste like that and smell like that. Weird. I’ve had crab soup multiple times in different restaurants before and I’ve never experienced what he mentioned. Instead he pushed us to take shezhwan crab soup but we didn’t want to smell anymore of the crab. With high reluctance, he changed the order to chicken clear soup. Which was okay. Next, we got the chicken spring roll, which did not resemble a spring roll by any means. It was a frozen dish. It was decent but not what we expected. Then came the chilly prawns, which again had the smell and raw seafood taste. At this point we knew there was no point so we gave up. Finally the chicken fried rice was driest fried rice I’ve ever tasted. I remember having food from the other samco branch. The food was great. Here, it was totally the opposite. It’s sad to see how a brand like Samco be so careless. Also, I now have food poisoning which I will blame samco for.

If you wanna visit samco please don't come to Velachery, we ordered nalli gosh and the pieces were very hard, we called the supervisor and informed them, but they reheated and gave the same gravy and the second time when I told them they changed the pieces from nalli to normal ones but still the pieces we very hard, had very bad experience, but we have visited all the branches like teynampet, anna Nagar, mogappair and alwarpet never faced any issues like this one.

Worst Chicken lollipop I have ever had was at Samco Velachery, it was hard to chew or swallow and had bad old oil smell. Even the Chicken Shawarma had too many French fries inside which I never asked. Much better options available at Phoenix mall

Such a horrible food..Quality wise 0 rating can only provided for a ordered tandoori chicken.Same applies to other dishes I have tried so far. Dedicate this appreciation to all samco management and coordinators.

Food taste was really bad… Butter chicken felt like korma Pepper prawn felt like chettinad gravy and also not good in taste
