Always had great Karnataka style food here. No other place does benne dosa and other dishes better than them in Chennai. Their sambar chutney are great too.

All the cuisines were delicious. Especially the open benny dosa. A must visit place for south Indian food.

Quick review on the cafe. Mini Rameshwaram and panchakattu dosa - with slightly more finesse . ++ Food I tried was good - no spice at all (might want to add a little ;) tried the chow chow bath and the masala vada . ++ really like the larger than life mirrors near the washing area and the water tanks ++ having the sweeter Bangalore sambhar was a treat ++ appreciate the sliding belt for wheel chairs — — the coffee was disappointing . Wasn’t very hot . Maybe the chicory wasn’t my taste and There was too much milk .

Amazing Mangalore food. As a North Indian, the taste of this place is really appealing to my palette! Quick service, hygienic food and value for money.

Ambience good, service also good. Food taste is not that good. less salt, less spice. Also, please please work on A/C. Though A/C is on, I could not feel chilled air, rather I was feeling hot especially while having food. 2.5 stars

An absolutely day light Robbery by this shameless Resturant which serves lunch with a small bowl of rice (which is limited) Sambar, rasam and some poriyal. NO CURD, sub standard quality and one has to wait for 15 minutes in que and pick up a self service of this cold sambar limited rice and no curd meal for a price of 240?? Ridiculous, The average lunch meal price at any good Resturant like Sangeetha, Geetham, VB is around 130-160, which is unlimited and of very good quality ingredients. When questioned i had to experience threat from the owner asking me to write about the experience where every i want and this is their price and everything is limited. Public fleecing through such overrated, hyped, substandard restaurants like Sashwatha Cafe run by owners who think they are Gods Gift to mankind and have done a big favour by opening a Resturant must be ashamed.

Proper imitation of Rameswaram cafe. Found everything good. From the thatte podi idly to mysore masala dosa to ghee podi plain dosa to pongal. We found it very tasty and finally got an onion masala dosa and as I was about to take the very last bite, found a housefly right there in the masala. Safe to say my experience has been completely ruined. About the food.. not so safe I believe

Would rather eat Dosa at A2B or Geetham than have the small ghee dipped dosa they serve.
