I loved the food here. Mutton biryani and pichi pota kozhi was legit. Highly recommend.

The ongoing Metro Rail works have rendered a top-notch restaurant reticent. Its the modest Seeragam located at Mylapore Chennai, serving South Indian cuisine, especially Chettinad. Smug and woody interiors greets you as you step in. An array of all possible types of spice bottles adorning the walls is fascinating. Basic, comfortable and spacious seating with indulgent service and moderate pricing. There's a seperate dinner menu that includes a variety of tiffin items. The food ticks all the boxes. The seeragam samba rice mutton biryani arrived hot and fragrant. Though a couple of protein pieces were hardened, it was delectable. The vanjaram fry was aptly spiced and well cooked. Eral 65 was gobsmacking as well. The non vegetarian meals, hot and sumptuous, offers all the three staple gravies - chicken, mutton and fish, all fragrant and delish. The Elaneer Payasam was the perfect swan song for the delightful fare. One just hopes the Metro works are done with soon and Seeragam gets its condign footfalls.

I recently went here with my family for lunch. The Biriyani was good but the meals was average. One of the best place to have Dindigul style seeraga samba Biriyani.

After looking at all the reviews we visited this place for Jan 1st dinner but I feel it was overrated. The food was okayish. Even though we booked the table it was first come first serve. Taste - 2.5/5 Ambience -3/5 Cost - Expensive Service - 3.5/5

Briyani taste and chicken 65 taste was good, but in Kari viruthu dish staters qty should be 10% more and gravy are spicy less salt. Veg dish samabar was ok and taste to be improved on rasam and paasam

Meals and the starters were not upto the expectation, no salt, no taste as well. Biryani was good. They need to increase their staff. No proper hygiene is maintained.

It’s not worth the hype !! Service is very poor & manager quietly ignores your request. I wouldn’t suggest to go here with high hopes.

Could have been less spices ( cinnamon , clove , coriander masala) in the biriyani .
