When you’re in Alwarpet, how can you not try out a café? I’m not really a café person as I don’t have that much time at my disposal; if I do, I’d rather go to a bar. I guess that’s what keeps most drinkers at bay from cafés. I know it’s a controversial statement and not true for everyone in this genre, but personally, that’s how I feel. However, I have nothing against cafés. As a non-compulsive photographer, every café feels photogenic—not just Instagrammable, but genuinely good for pictures. It gives me inspiration, which rarely happens. Similarly, whenever I think of shooting a short film, my mind automatically sets a café as the background, as all my scripts are about coffees and conversations. It’s just that I haven’t shot even a single one yet—maybe I never will—but it’s still all there in my head. This café fitted every single emotion above to a T. The icing on the cake was that I went alone and could resonate with all these thoughts. Thanks to the café for not making me feel alone. The ambience was top-notch, and it had ample car parking. I think it extends to the floors above as well, but I didn't get a chance to check them out. The waiters are super cool and the food is fantastic, but I guess I just ordered the wrong dishes. I was hell-bent on trying a beef burger that day, but burgers were not available. I didn’t want to eat a pizza alone, so I opted for the Kung Pao Chicken Bowl, which was flavored rice with Kung Pao chicken and fryums. It tasted yummy, but I wasn’t in the mood for it; it was too simple for me. I should have ordered a cappuccino, but I ordered a Jim Jam Coffee Latte (to hell with my "different" thinking). It tasted exactly as it should have. You know when you eat something and feel that it fits the definition? It was one of those dishes, but I just wasn’t in the mood for Jim Jam flavor that day. Even though both dishes didn’t satisfy me, I’m not going to reduce even a single star because the preparation felt diligent, sincere, and exactly as it should have been. So, cheers to Sortd!

Great food and ambience. Encountered slightly rude experience with service when the place was full, but when it was not so crowded had a smooth experience

Good service and ambience. A little on the expensive side, but food and ambience was great, so you wouldn't mind paying those extra bucks.

Ambience was great, staff were courteous. Good location. Presentation and quantity of food were good. Broccoli and Cheddar cutlet was a bit bland/less salt. Madurai Kola Poppers were yummy. BB Prawn Roll was average, the sauce/sautee for the prawn was good. Salted Caramel Shake was too sweet. Pesto Chicken pasta was average too. One order we gave was forgotten, when we checked in an hour later, they placed the order again and served in 15mins.

The food and drinks are very very mid. Not worth the price tag. Ambience and staff are great. Useful valet service

It took one hour to prepare our food and they repeatedly forgot our order. The quantity is small and overpriced. There is nothing great or fascinating about their food. The king pao chicken tasted like chilli chicken the overall experience was average

Booked a separate room at the restaurant. No information was provided during the booking on room charges, but when we got the bill separate room rent was charged. Bad customer service . They fool you after you are done .

Food was not that great. Not worth the money at all. We ordered calamari rings ; the texture was not good. Mushroom Karage was okay. Disappointed with the main course!
