It was a two-day stay near Alwarpet for personal reasons, and I wanted to explore as much as possible within walking distance. For breakfast, the highest-rated restaurant that appeared on my Zomato with maximum ratings was Eating Circles. However, I also had Sree Akshayam as a backup since the locals suggested it. Finally, we had to step into Sree Akshayam due to personal reasons again, but it’s a breakfast I couldn’t regret. The place was huge and wasn’t crowded like the Velachery branch. Sree Akshayam is probably the only restaurant after Sangeetha Adyar that’s good for a South Indian breakfast. But the Velachery branch is always crowded, so we avoid that. This was nice and peaceful. We got good seats to settle down; we could see that most diners were regulars there. We ordered a couple of Mini Tiffins and a couple of Pongals with Sambar Vada. Absolutely no complaints. Everything tasted pitch-perfect. My only regret is that the Mini Tiffin had Poori or Masal Dosai as an option. They said Poori was not available, but it was served at another table. However, I don’t want to cast doubt just as an onlooker. Our next order was Rava Dosai and Poori. Again, no complaints at all. The icing on the cake was the coffee at the end. Easily one of the best I’ve had—on par with Adyar Hot Chips. In all, a flawless meal.

We went for a team lunch and ordered the full meals here called Dhivya Bhojanam. It had all the 6 flavours. Food was unlimited and the service was great. The only negative I can think of is that the food was in the spicy side. The curd they serve in clay pots were awesome. The pappu podi with ghee was also very good.

Went for lunch on a weekday with my wife. North Indian Thali - 3.5/5. Decent quantity for a single person. Dhivya Bhojanam. 3.5/5. Decent quantity. More Andhra taste.

Bad experience and such ill mannered waiter ...who judged senior citizens while ordering meals ...made fun of them by passing comments with his co worker both giggling and when we overheard the conversation ...and questioned him of his behaviour ..he did not even realise his mistake and ask for apology . The manager covered for his employee but had the attitude like " what else are you expecting from me , i am saying sorry and my employee can't say sorry " ..They did not even care to make up for what they had done disrespecting senior citizens ,judging us for our physical appearances ....The waiter was very arrogant till the end of conversation and we failed to get the basic apology from him ...as he was getting covered by his manager ...they think money is everything ...first treat your costumers with basic respect then comes the food ! Finally i guess the Waiter hates if people orders 120 rs meals as if he is going to pay for our meal ! 👍🏿

Had a very bad experience, not once but multiple times after having food here The oil that they are using is excess and some other thing is also not good about the food The menu is greatly curated, oil needs to be reduced and the quality of oil needs to be checked After having food here it is causing some health issues Highly recommend the hotel staff and the management to look into it seriously

The worst ambience , their ground floor AC is just not working add to that the staff’s reclusive approach to serve food fast was very frustrating. This is by far the worst experience i have had in a akshayam franchise

found a stand of hair in the food that was served. when we asked the manager he just replaced the food. The staffs were not even apologetic for thier behavior. this is completey unacceptable. very unhygienic place

Worst possible experience in a South Indian restaurant in chennai. Horrible staff and even worse interiors. Staff seated our group of 7 in a 5-6 seater. Move an arm and you hit your neighbour. Pathetic.

Does their chefs know how to cook? No taste in pav, bhaji. Pav was like chewing rubber. Bhaji is red in color and NO aroma, taste,... nothing. will never order from this outlet ever again
