After a very tiring day, I came across Akshayam when we were back home. Least did I know there was a new branch in Velachery. Went in and ordered a mutter paneer dosa, one kuzhi paniyaram and a paneer kuthu idiyappam and to end the meal, had a hot badam milk. Their menus are very unique with respect to that day's specials or sweets. A lovely variety to choose from. I am not a person who would easily try something different from the usual in south Indian cuisine. But looking at the variety tempted me, and so was my order. It all tasted sumptuously different and good. The ambience was great and the service was super fast. A lovely place to dine with your families.

Please don’t order from this restaurant. For last 3 months I have placed almost 10+ orders myself and my spouse. Every time it has got cancelled and there won’t be anyone who calls and let the customer know abt that. When I called to inquire abt the cancellation I was completely ill treated. You might be successful now but if you treat your customer like shit, they will make you the same in the future.

Dined last night at Sree Akshayam Velachery. We ordered Cream of Mushroom Soup. They brought corn starch thickened water and sliced mushrooms and lots of pepper powder. South Indian items were OK but Kothu was super oily mush of red chillies. And the worst part is after driving off from the restaurant we discovered that the valets had stolen off 5 litres of Petrol from our car.

Horrible taste.. Pls don't by brand.. Called the manager and briefed about the qlty.. But did respond well.. Better to go for good one if u really looking for taste..

Had a cake recently in the Akshyam Velachery .. Resulted in food poisoning for both me and my kid.. Worst experience we had!!! Eat cakes here at your own risk!!
