I was looking for places to have tea & coffee in the evening and found this place. I ordered a kesar rasmalai [Rs.53], chole bhaturey [Rs.110], tea [Rs.37] and coffee [Rs.42]. The choley bhaturey is super delicious and it had the typical north Indian flavor where as the kesar rasmalai is super soft, syrupy and tasted yummy. The tea and coffee both came in nicely packed thermocol containers. They are hot and tasted good but they are priced a bit on the higher side.

Ratings Based only on Taste.... A new outlet of the Pallavaram famous Gupta Bhavan opened closer to my home in the area of pammal...right in the pammal-Pozhichalur Junction...With some good parking...few bikes and couple of cars too...but parking can be a problem from time to time due the heavy traffic in this congested junction...there is no person to attend the parking so you are on your own... The place is pretty small compared to the pallavarm outlet....could get congested at times....Has 4 tables put up to seat around 16 odd people...Has billing and chat counter on one side and sweets display counter on the other forming a L type Counter....Suitable for quick dine options...The A/C is not that Great too....maintenance and cleaning is average...no idea how it will withstand with time... The best and preferred option for sweets in our area...the best sweets hands down...But this particular outlet was a bit of disappointment...on couple of occasions found the sweets not being as fresh as they need to be...being in the interiors the sales might be less and hence the problem....The badam milk, rasmalai and Basundhi are just not woth at this place..high prices for the quantity and especially the badam milk is a complete No-No could be avoided for sure...they also serves chats and other items like shakes and faloodas...which i havent tried yet...Will soon update on the same.... Sweets at this place are the best in this locality as of now..so this should be your option....service is better than their outlet at pallavaram....Ambiance is average....Hope they stock up fresh sweets...Fresh stocks arrive by noon...best time for you to visit the place and get your hands on fresh stuff.... P.S : Plz Taste and Buy

I had heard decent reviews about the place. But the experience was terrible. It's no way authentic north Indian. Give it a miss. Lot of better options available in Chennai

Staff demanding me to speak Hindi This happened today (20 Nov 2020) I went to buy some sweets and savouries at 7.15 PM. The one who weighed my sweets and packed it, asked me where I’m from and do I know Hindi. I said I’m from Chennai and I do not know. The staff demanded that , I’m in India and I should learn and speak in Hindi. The staff is from Bihar (as he stated). Even the store manager did not give fitting reply to my concern. How a person can come into our state and dictate me to learn and speak Hindi. @sreeguptabhavan : This is the worst ever experience I had from a vendor in my lifetime. Will never support this kind of business.
