Sri Ganesh Bhavan, has been here for a while now. The name ends with Bhavan indicating it's a pure veg restraunt. I've been here once two years back. The food was very normal. Never felt like visiting again. A week before, i had to go there because of my vegan cousin. Surprisingly, they've improved a lot on the taste. We had a lot out of which the veg balls and the paneer tikka stood out. Downside would be the ambience and service. A Non A/C restaurant with the old fashioned furnitures doesn't emote a good feeling. It's not just about having a wide variety of dishes. The management has to spend some time on educating the servers about their dishes. For instance when we asked for an additional serving of mint chutney the one who served us gave a blank look for a while and went in and bought all the chutneys ( coconut and tomato ) they served with dosa. And we told him that we wanted the one which comes with the tikka, he was like.. "Oh.. Green chutney ya.. " . People who are not concerned about ambience can come here for good veg food. The prices are really reasonable.

Decent place for a quick hunger fix. No AC or anything. Coffee is over priced. I had ordered ghee roast masala dosa. It was good. Would have wanted it more crispy.maybe I should have specifically asked for that. I like their chatni and sambar.mushroom 65 was nicely hot but not spicy exactly. They did not have any of the sweet dish items. Overall place is good for quick south Indian food.

Went very late around 11.00 pm and there are only few items available. Ordered Dosa and Chapatti. Dosa wsa good with three chutneys and s Sambar. Ambiance was very normal.

I went to this place for lunch and I ordered veg meals ( limited). The quantity of rice which looked good in the plate it was served was actually very less which I discovered at the end of my meal. The meal consists of rice , sambar, kaarakolambu, rasam, buttermilk, payasam, poriyal , kootu, thokku, and appalam. Sambar was very tasty as was the kaarakolambu. Rasam was okayish while buttermilk could have been a bit better. The keerai kootu was nice but they would serve it more then once unlike poriyal and thakali thokku. More milage was also nice, tasty and crispy. On the whole the meal was average. The ambience was okay but hygiene was good .

Bad Attitude of the manager at reception. I was speaking to one of the cleaning staff. The manager called me to the counter and started saying "you dont have the permission to speak to the staff" and got into a very unnecessary argument. They dont try to maintain a positive relationship with the customers. This happend to me regardless of me being their regular customer. I told if this is your attitude, i will not come here from now onwards. He said "ok dont come". Will not go there again.

This is my second order the quantity of food is very less for the money which we are paying. If you pay 90 rupees for one Pongal you will get a quantity which is sufficient only for 5 year old kid. Don't waste your Money..

Average Experience Very bad response from staff,unpolite staff.unfriendly staff.visited 3 times and same thing repeats. Taste is ok. Not suggested to ge here and get insulted by the staff.
