Very disappointing service experience at Ramada Egmore buffet We visited Ramada Egmore yesterday for the buffet through a Zomato booking, and unfortunately, we had a very poor experience with the service. When we entered, the staff first asked for our room number. We informed them that we had a Zomato reservation. After that, they guided us to our seats, which were comfortable. However, once we were seated, no one came to explain the buffet menu or assist us. We had to manage everything on our own, which was very disappointing. We started with soup, but when we looked for starters, there were no starters available at the buffet counter. We had to personally request the manager for starters. Only after repeated requests, one staff member brought a small quantity of chicken starter and veg momos for four people, which was insufficient. There was no proper follow-up or refill provided, and no staff member checked on us. We also ordered butter naan at our table, but it was never served even after waiting for more than 30 minutes. Overall, the service was very unprofessional and unorganized, which completely spoiled our dining experience. We felt very frustrated and disappointed with the poor service. Based on our experience, we would not recommend booking this buffet through Zomato.

it's not worthy for 7700 even though I got ,50 %off i pain 3975as bill amount I feel in other hotel buffet are arround 1000 only per person here after discount also the amount is same,so instead of using this type of discount we can go for a normal buffet

Due to the ongoing LPG crisis, they had a limited menu, which could have been mentioned at the time of booking for more transparency. For Non-Veg, you have a main dish, gravy and a side dish.

⭐ 1 Star – Extremely Disappointing Experience I visited Ramada Plaza, Egmore for the dinner buffet yesterday, and the experience was extremely disappointing. Before visiting, I called the hotel a day in advance to confirm the pricing. I was clearly informed that the buffet cost was ₹1600 per person, and after taxes it would come to ₹1900–₹2000 per person. I was also told that I could use Swiggy or Zomato discounts on this price. However, after finishing dinner, we were shocked to receive a bill of ₹2400 per person. When questioned, the staff said that if we used Swiggy or Zomato, we would not get the general pricing, and that they charge more to “compensate” because those platforms give discounts. This logic makes absolutely no sense and was never communicated during the phone call. This was clearly a miscommunication from their end, and the explanation given was unacceptable. What made things worse was the quality of the food. I had visited the Symphony restaurant here about a year ago and remember having 8–9 varieties of starters. This time, the options were extremely limited. The chicken starters were cold and tasted old, and the main course dishes were below average. Overall, the food was a complete letdown and not worth the price at all. The situation escalated further when the manager argued with us for a long time instead of resolving the issue professionally. Only after prolonged discussion did he finally agree to charge us the price that was originally quoted over the phone. This visit was a complete waste of time and money and one of the most disappointing dining experiences I’ve had. Sadly, this place is no longer what it used to be. I would strongly advise others to avoid Ramada Plaza Egmore and Symphony restaurant, as the pricing practices and food quality are highly unreliable.

Food is not good. Worst buffet i have ever had. Didnt expect this kind of food from Ramada. Taste is not good at all. Even a normal restaurant would serve a better food. The buffet spread is very less for a dinner. Half of the items were not there and took a long time to refill. Everyone was waiting for a long time. Even the service was not good. No proper info about what is available . WORST PLACE.
