Aunthetic Kerala food . Excellent taste . Variety of dishes were available on a Sunday lunch .Meals as well as parotta appam etc . Prices very reasonable.Parking available at the rear of the building. It is the best Kerala cuisine restaurant in Chennai in my view considering all aspects Would certainly come again

Tried That Mallu Joint, I’ve mostly ordered from here a couple of times, but never really sat down and tried everything properly. I’ve been wanting to try their Thalassery biryani for a while, but every time it’s either unavailable or I’m just not in the mood for something that heavy. This time, we ordered Malabar parotta, Kandhari chicken curry, Kandhari prawns (starter), and Nei choru. The Nei choru was a letdown, it felt like plain steamed rice, didn’t have much flavour, and some parts were slightly undercooked. Even with the fish manga curry, it didn’t really come together for me. But the Kandhari chicken curry was really good, nice balance of slight sweetness and spice, and the chicken was cooked well. The Malabar parotta paired really well with it too. Overall, a bit of a mixed bag some hits, some misses.

Service was extremely slow, and after asking multiple times, we were served an undercooked paratha. By the time it was replaced, the curry had gone cold. The restaurant wasn’t busy, yet the manager didn’t seem to care. Waited for an hour there with my hands covered in curry!!!Very disappointing experience.
