If you are craving mallu food in the city, then this place is easily the best! And what's more, it's totally VFM. They have managed to serve good quality and tasty food over the years consistently and hats off to the team behind it! We had the appams, veg stew, coconut milk, squid and the chemeen kurumulagu. Everything that we had was absolutely wonderful!

Gorgeous, gorgeous food with an adorable view of the street below. I'm always a softie for excellent Kerala food, and this place really served it up. Definitely give their kandhari prawns a try, their appams are soft and sweet and excellent as well. Definitely a must try for someone who likes a good kick of flavour in their food.

Ordered the following items 1. Naadan chicken roast 2. Gandhari chicken 3. Yam fry 4. Chicken 65 5. Malabar parotta 6. Nei Soru 7. Tiger prawn 8. Jackfruit payasam Naadan chicken roast, Gandhari chicken gravy, Malabar parotta, nei Soru and tiger prawn were so good. 5/5. Chicken 65, Yam fry and jack fruit payasam were a let down. 2/5

I usually visit this place just for their Beef Roast. went there on the 23rd june 2024. i ordered for beef roast and parota. the beef was not good at all. there was too much fat in the meat and the taste was very bad. The service is very slow I ordered for an egg appam and they took more than 20 minutes. finally cancelled the order.

I am really unsure on what the hype is all about, all the food items were extremely average and overpriced for the quantity. The meals which are provided on the weekend did not even have curd or a sweet served along with it, even a basic resturant like Sangeetha would provide such fundamental food items in a meal.

Today we went to a restaurant thinking it as a kerala style food .we ordered Koon mulagittathu ie mushroom pepper fry chicken fry aatirachi varattiyathu.not a single dish was authentic kerala dish.it was like a Chinese chef made kerala food.utter waste of time and money.ambience was good.

I wonder how this place has a 4.4 rating, we went to this restaurant on a Friday night for dinner, the place was empty and the ambience was really good. Coming to the food, I can’t believe we drove 15kms in chennai traffic to have food at this place. We ordered kandhari chemeen(prawn), Malabar parotta, kozhi ghee roast, atterachi(mutton) chops, meen moilee, kalaapam and aapam thengapaal. Except the prawn nothing else was good, being a mallu myself I can strongly say not one dish was authentic Kerala cuisine. The kozhi ghee roast was so bad I wonder how they serve it, it was just chicken in red chilly paste, not a dollop of ghee I could taste or smell, we had to return this back and order something else. The meen moilee was so bland, on the whole absolute disappointment. And wow the portion they serve for the price, everything is so less that a 5 year old kid can have it alone by themselves. Never going back or recommending this place to anyone.
