One prime example of wasting a great location space. It is right next to Thiruvanmiyur beach but there are no boards or hoardings leading to the hotel, no proper advertisement about what’s there. I had visited this bar when it was as Turf Pub, even then it wasn’t quite happening but now it looks in shambles. Worst management who are wasting such prime location space. When I entered the street I was in doubt whether the hotel/bar was still existing. To my surprise it was. There were no one at 6 PM on a Friday evening and some unknown Tamil channel was on projector. We didn’t want to risk anything, so ordered a couple of British Empire. The only other beer option we had was Sterren, which I felt was even more risky. We got the not so cool beer bottles along with the sides which looked as if it was already been used. The spoon and cups felt like it was taken from some other table and given and the place too wasn’t tidy. I’m not a fan of British Empire but it hadn’t tasted this bad previously, thanks the cooling. Anyways we didn’t buy any sides, thankfully so, and left the bar immediately post the drink.
