The food we ordered were super oily, one of the starter and main course had oil levels, that if US finds they will come to war to have hold of that oil.

Started in Anna Nagar and later opened a branch in Thiruvanmiyur, this place has stood the test of time for close to a decade, I guess. It had been on my list forever, and generally, restaurants that stay on my list for so long end up shutting down before I get to visit them. Thankfully, this one stayed on. Thanks to my friend from the UK who was visiting me, I finally got a chance to check it out on a Monday evening. For a Monday evening, it was reasonably crowded. But, typical of Chennai pubs, the music was loud, which was one of the reasons I had been postponing my visit for ages. We had to shout to have a conversation. But I can't complain—it is that type of bar. They finally had draught beer available, but we got a bit carried away and ended up having a pitcher each of British Empire. Whenever we got the chance, we played pool, which was free. Otherwise, the table was occupied by one group throughout. The Mutton Samosa we ordered first was eclectic, but the Peri Peri Chicken Pizza we had towards the end was very average. I couldn't taste the peri peri flavor at all. At 10:40 PM, the music was switched off and we were asked to leave, which was a bit disappointing. The good thing is that they have great offers on Zomato, so we ended up getting a nice 35% discount. Overall, it was a decent outing, except for the bouncer, who came across as a bit rude—though maybe that's just his natural demeanor. I'll probably visit once for lunch, as that's when they offer the maximum discount, and it's also close to my house.

Pathetic staff behaviour. Don’t know how to treat guests, pls avoid coming here. They promised for match screening and sent everyone out even before the match ended. The official close time was 11 and they started sending everyone out at 10:30. Worst pub anyone can attend.
