We were here yesterday evening for somw snacks at this outlet. Located in Gandhi Nagar main road, can be easily located. We ordered for two portions of Kuzhi paniyaram. The paniyarama were tad bit hard, but was served hot. Maybe the batter was not proper, can be looked Upon. Ordered for a portion of podi dosa, it was delicious and the podi was seasoned properly on the dosa, served along with kara chutney, sambar and Coconut chutney. Was craving something sweet also, so ordered for two portions of Rasamalai. And itbwas out of the world, loved every bit of it. Service was pretty fast, but we had to constantly remind them to for extra chutney, sambar and also to clear the plates. We were billed ₹350, which is pretty reasonable.

Visited this place for a evening snack. Had bonda and vada with chutney and sambar. Both bonda and vada were good. The chutney was delicious. The sambar was okay. And also had rava ladu. Here they grind the rava to a powder form and make ladu with that. It was different and tasted good.

The delivery executive of another food delivery app recommended not to buy anything here as the items ordered are usually unavailable. They do not even update the online order menu (in Zomato or the other app) to reflect what is currently available. Once a delivery executive mentioned that they have no computerised system to accept/reject orders. Strangely such issues were not faced when I ordered from their Thiruvanmiyur outlet, from which I got an automated response on unavailability. I am not sure why their head office isn't better! Today I ordered Mysore Bondas, Idlis and Pongal, the restaurant confirmed the order, and after about 40 minutes the Zomato valet called to say Pongal is not available. Now it looks like the order can't be modified since it was already confirmed, so the only way out is for the restaurant to give some other items that I do not want at this time. I asked them to replace Pongal with Mysore Bondas. But I don't want to reduce the rating below 3 as the quality of the items that happen to be available is good. UPDATE: The restaurant replaced my idlis with cut-up rock-like idlis immersed in sambar, and similarly hard ghee mini idlis. I couldn't have sambar and bondas as they had onions. The next day morning the bondas already got spoilt (with thread-like growth), showing that they were not fresh. Updating the rating to 2.

The quality of service and customer focus the place had, when it was started several years back, does not seem to exist. When I visited the place just this evening, I found no sign of ‘service with smile’ pretty much on every staff. I felt that customers were perceived like a ‘third-rated citizen’ and unwanted. There was no logical steps or procedure or training of staff, to take the orders and deliver the orders. Every customer had to wait for the staff’s “mercy” to get served. No sign of any courtesy at all. In the meantime, anyone has no consideration for others already waiting to be served, can simply ‘barge-in’, no one could question that behavior, as many behave that way only. It appeared that, every glamourous money making idea, gets imported from the developed world into the country at a ‘lightning speed’, so people could make quick money, boast around and built their ‘social status’. On the contrary, people in the developed countries do have some great qualities, particularly, ‘manners’, ‘courtesy’, ‘consideration’ for others. Such great qualities are not even talked about, probably because too difficult to practice in reality, as the current societal environment has gone totally out of control. Time to wake up. Time to change.
