As the name says, @grandsweets came up with amazing food. The Mysore masala Dosa was one of the best Dosa's I've ever had so far. The dahi papdi Chaat was just simply awesome. With their calm ambience and quick delivery, I would definitely recommend it for all the south Indian food lovers. .

Great place for family and corporate dining. They serve meals , tiffin with an added advantage of serving sweets if ordered. Lunch was awesome with sumptuous dishes and was worth the money. Service is quick and prompt.

Ordered for mysore pak . I received grainy mysore pak.  I prefer soft mysore pak like those sold in Sri Krishna sweets.   For this what is the order should I make ?

Easy to spot. Huge place. Known for it's wide range of sweets and savoury. We had Mysore bonda and Coffee. Didn't really try the sweets but I would like it someday give it a shot. Coffee was alright but the bonda was good. It's a comfortable place. Well lit and service is great. I sure will go there again to lay my hands on the sweets!

The 1-line summary: Good ambience, average food, bad service. Avoid. The rating: Food: 3.3/5. VFM: 3.5/5. Ambience & Service: 2/5 (Ambience is good, but bad service pulls down the score) The details: In the last few years a number of sweet/savory shops across Chennai have branched out into opening small eateries - Grand Sweets & Snacks (both units), Sri Krishna Sweets and Adyar Anandha Bhavan (A2B) being the most prominent. They typically serve South Indian tiffin and chaat items. For some reason, none of these restaurants have managed to come out on top as a high-quality restaurant - almost all of them are rated below 3.5 in zomato. We happened be in T.Nagar and were vegetarian on that day :-(, so decided to try out the ‘Grand Sweets & Snacks-Amirtham’ at Bazulla Road. We entered the restaurant at 9.15 pm, and the first thing the waiter says as we sit is that they are about to close. When we pointed out that their closing time shows as 10.30 pm in zomato etc., his response was that “the sign on our door says 9.30 pm”. From that point on it was all downhill. More importantly this behavior was not a one-time thing. I later saw that a few other reviewers in zomato have also reported rude behavior when they went around ‘closing time’. Coming to the food, we ordered adai-avial & plain dosa - as these were the only items left. The adai was ok, avial was pathetic - it was just drumstick & coconut mixed together. The dosa was ok, the sambhar was not. Overall, the food was of average quality. Not sure if their other items are any better, will let you guys discover that.…:-) And to top it all, as were leaving the restaurant, the security guy started yelling at us assuming that some car parked improperly belonged to us. All in all, this is not an establishment that seems suited for good service. You could visit to buy their thokku, paruppu podi and athirasam and scoot off; coz those items are still good at any Grand Sweets !

Food was served fast sambhar vada was authentic and good. Ordered fried rice, not recommended. Best place for typical south indian food specialty for Tamil Nadu cuisine. Ambience is good, less crowded.

I ordered assorted ghee sweets through zomato yesterday in grand sweet and snacks-amritham, i requested for mixture of milk and ghee sweets and i received as i requested but the taste and quality of sweets were pathetic. The milk peda was very worst and it tasted like detergent mixed in it, the ghee mysorepa was not at all good, it tasted like bit older one. This mysorepa is the only one which was a worst mysorepa, i bought and ate in my life. Even the sonpapdi is the older stock which i understood while eating the seed used for decoration.Overall it was a bad experience with u. Yours is not a quality one like grand sweets in nair road,t nagar, chennai. For ayudha pooja we bought sweets from nair road grand sweets and the sweets taste and quality were awesome. For that reason only i thought your branch will be delivering same quality and placed order in your branch.
