The Marina in Chennai left a lasting impression on my recent visit, quickly becoming a new favorite. The live seafood counter stole the show, offering a delightful selection. I savored the exquisite flavors of the crab chukka, lobster butter garlic, and pomfret tawa fry—each dish showcased freshness and culinary expertise. The chef’s recommendations aligned perfectly with our preferences. While the prices lean towards the higher side, the overall experience makes it worth the splurge. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

Went for the first time to this place. Simply loved it. Food is really fresh and chefs are doing a great job. Managers take the order perfectly. Food is simply next level. I am definitely visiting here whenever in Chennai. Prawns tandoori to Indian salmon cooked in Kandahari style and South Indian style is simply lip smacking Bhekti garlic butter was also good. All in all a 10/10 meal. Keep it up

The concept is novel: you pick out fish you like in quantities you want and you are billed by gram. They then prepare it the way you want. The fish was fresh as can be and we enjoyed the pomfret, prawns, squid and seer. The Tandoori prep is especially fantastic. My only minor feedback would be to improve the service time; that was a bit slow. Nevertheless we absolutely loved it.

One of the best places in chennai for seafood. We ordered their red snapper fish, seer fish and prawns from live counter. They customized as per our cooking instruction. For main course,I ordered chicken hakka style noodles and seafood mix fried rice. We got our tummy filled from the starters itself. The service was fantastic. We enjoyed our dining experience here.

What a wonderful experience. revisited the place after years, more because how much I enjoyed it the first time. After planning and failing multiple times over the years, I was able to get my family here who loved it! The next visit isn’t too far off I’m sure. The chefs are doing great work and the rest of the crew was good too.

One of the best seafood restaurants (purely on the basis of food and service) that I've ever been to. Every single item was excellent (including the kala khatta drink that I ordered) and the service was top notch too. If plain vanilla ambience is not a deal breaker, don't miss this place!!

We went for lunch with family today. The place was extremely crowded, the service was poor. we had to keep calling the waiters for attention, to bring the main course sooner, so refill water. They seemed tired and were rolling their eyes when we would call on them. I have been to Marina before on weekdays and liked it then. But today was a poor experience, and we paid a bomb for average tasting food. Disappointed.
