Had a great experience at Mayflower, Teynampet. The ambiance was really nice—calm, quiet, and perfect for a peaceful meal. The service was excellent, very attentive and friendly throughout. The food was also really good and lived up to the overall vibe. Definitely a place to visit if you’re looking for a relaxed dining experience.

I had a wonderful experience at this place. The food was fresh, flavourful and beautifully presented. Very good ambience and great staff too. Must try mountain chilli prawns. Highly recommended

I visited this place for the first time after seeing its good ratings on Zomato, but unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. When we arrived, there was no one to guide us to a table. We had to pick one ourselves and sit down. Even when we were given plates, they were mismatched — I received one kind of plate while my partner was given a completely different one. It may seem minor, but it set the tone for the lack of attention to detail. While someone eventually came to take our order, many of the dishes we initially chose were unavailable. We adjusted and ordered from the limited options left. As we waited, we noticed several other customers expressing frustration about delayed food and odd-tasting dishes, which made us uneasy. The first dish to arrive was the Pasta Arrabiata — a very basic and straightforward order. Shockingly, it was extremely spicy. We were neither informed that it would be this spicy nor asked about our spice preference. It was so overpowering that we had to scrape off the sauce and eat the plain spaghetti just to salvage something. Next came the lemon basil soda. It was essentially plain lemon soda with a few basil leaves added as garnish. There was nothing distinct or refreshing about it — it tasted exactly like something one could easily make at home. Finally, we received the chipotle chicken sandwich. It looked appealing at first, but the taste was disappointing. The chicken texture felt odd — almost like boiled or possibly undercooked chicken. The sauce didn’t taste freshly prepared; it seemed like a separate, pre-made preserve added on top. The flavors didn’t come together, and after a few bites, we had to leave it. Honestly, the chef needs to be reconsidered. Every single dish we tried was sub-average — in fact, largely inedible — which is why we had to waste most of it. The only thing fancy about this place is the name. We shared our feedback verbally as well, but given that multiple tables were facing similar issues, we’re unsure how much will change. Will not be visiting again. Go at your own risk.

Wasted one hour at this place only to be serviced with no food and a nasty attitude. Absolutely pathetic service. Ordered just a starter, a pizza, 2 drinks and after waiting for an hour, we still didn’t get our food. No accountability. Zero responsibility.
