Taj Connemara is my favourite luxury hotel after this visit ♥️, the hotel is very classy , the lighting is perfect. I feel better than Westin chennai. My mobile doesn't get the internet connection, and I was enjoying to the mild music and ambience. The verandah restaurant is having a pool side view. By the time of my visit , there was a festival #masalaklub was going on and I tried the following items on my visit The complimentary papad basket - I can't feel the oil in papad , it's crispy and perfect. Yeah I finished it all by myself 😃 Sarson ke phool - the broccoli marinated with curd and spices and char grilled to perfection. Gulkand rasmalai - it's having the perfect flavour and texture. And sweetness of gulkand and mild sweetness of rasamalai goes well 🥰 Moong daal halwa - it's my first time trying this kind. It's quite hot, I can feel moong daal ofcourse , it's topped with rich nuts. I really loved it. Cardamom kulfi - try it only if you are a cardamom lover. I personally didn't liked it much because I don't liked it. But it's rich and flavourful. On top of all the presentation is creative, which you can totally expect from a star hotel. My rating is based on the fact that , assuming you don't care about the money coz it's a five star property. So I'm not discussing about the value for money, the food is having very rich flavour with the quality ingredients.

We ordered our dinner through the QMIN route that Taj has enabled. Suresh from Taj Connemara, handled our order very diligently, and ensured delivery the food within the time promised and hot, by Taj own staffs. Packaging was top-class and very hygienic. Food, as usual, very very tasty with adequate portions. Overall, enjoyed our dinner thoroughly, and didn't miss Taj dining, even during the lockdown. Great initiative by Taj.

the cheddar n cream pasta and the mushroom starter was amazing. so was the hospitality and complementary Pampering ! Special thanks to Mr. Millar for being so humble and approachable ! not to forget the gentleman singing beautiful songs made the brunch more than just perfect ! 😊 thanks guys !

Some of the best Taj had to offer My family and I went on a weekday shared the nasi goreng, pesto pasta, risotto and the club sandwich, accompanied with an array of delicious desserts.

Hello. I have visited this place with my friends ({uid:1541024}) for afternoon madras high tea and to my surprising each and every south indian dish was fabulous. Starting with Complimentary Coconut Water with little honey and lemon. Then Podi Fried Idlies, Uttapam with 3 varieties of chutneys. Tomota, Coconut and Ginger. Followed by Cookies with tea which was the best thing. I highly recommend this place👍

Slightly disappointed by the taste of the food. We had the tom yum soup and chettinad lamb biriyani. The soup had an over powering flavour from the mushrooms in it and somehow being a tom yum lover, I didn’t enjoy it. The chettinad lamb biriyani was recommended by the staff and this too was disappointing. The flavour of it was very light and some of the lamb pieces were extremely dry. The positive about this place is the staff and the service. Extremely polite and the chef personally came to understand what went wrong. We were even offered a complimentary plate of dessert. Taj being Taj ,after all 🥰

Visited on Valentine’s Day party and really not a good experience. Some fish dishes are good but they are not refilling on time. If you sit near pool to listen music then mosquitoes kills you. Taj management has to take of this issue seriously.

I recently had a rather unpleasant experience at Taj Connemara on January 18th, 2024. It was supposed to be a special day – we were celebrating my mother's birthday with a family lunch, just the three of us: my mom, my younger brother, and me. We dressed smartly but not overly so, aiming for a balance between casual and presentable. From the moment we arrived, the staff's behavior was off-putting. It felt like the waiter had judged us based on our appearance, assuming we were out of place. This was evident in his reaction when we ordered a full meal – soups, appetizers, main courses, bread, rice, and desserts. It seemed to surprise him that we could afford such a spread. Throughout our meal, we felt uncomfortably scrutinized. Waiters frequently checked on us, almost urging us to finish quickly or suggesting we couldn't afford more. The most disheartening moment came when we asked for the dessert menu. The waiter pointed out the prices, as if to warn us, and even suggested leftover items from a buffet that had ended. It was demeaning. Their behavior escalated when they questioned if we were using a coupon or voucher – a clear indication of their assumptions about our financial status. Despite these uncomfortable interactions, our final bill came to 8000 INR for three people, a sum that contradicts their assumptions. As an entrepreneur with a successful business, I certainly don't need to justify my financial standing, but this experience has left me questioning the training and hospitality ethos at Taj Connemara. It's a stark reminder that appearances can be misleading, and it's wrong to make assumptions about someone's financial status based on their looks. This lunch was meant to be a joyful family gathering, but the staff's behavior completely dampened the spirit of our celebration.

food and everything was good. but the restaurant refused zomato gold saying that they have discontinued it. after me unlocking gold and everything, and zomato showing that you have it. how can you refuse it on the table. highly unprofessional
