We booked a table for 4 and we had one of the most amazing nostalgic South Indian lunches in a long long time . One of the common negative reviews I saw was that people had booked on zomato but were made to wait , but it’s quite understandable because the place is jam packed . And besides, you’re just booking a table on zomato for a 10% off it’s not like they’re the queen of Sheeba for godsakes . Yes we did wait for 10 min and that’s a forgivable mistake (although for those who are waiting if they can give some sort of juice or rasam in a cup it would go a long way in soothing the nerves ) We ordered like crazy and were met with a reasonable speed of service , the mutton kola was stunning , flavourful , mild and not dripping of oil- it was so good that I ordered another round . We also ordered the fish fingers which the kids loved and seeing how good that was I was inquisitive to know how the crumb battered calamari would be so the glutton in me ordered that too . I forgot my wife ordered the ghee roast mutton and i ordered the ghee roast prawns and the pichhu pota chicken , the mutton was tender , juicy and just melt in your mouth , the ghee roast prawns could have been a little better . The mutton biryani for mains was a Time Machine to the good old days and you could taste the effort they have put in to get the masala’s mixed just right and the meat fell off the bone had absorbed every ounce of the masala and it was pure Delight . Ghee rice was also good along with the the chicken stew for the kids , though they polished the stew off with a set of parotas that I forgot I ordered . I also ended up ordering an extra chicken kothu parotta and we wound up with some delicious light and mild elaneer payasam and couldn’t stop ourselves from ordering the kavuni alwa too . So we were stuffed as pigs and took the unfinished business in a parcel to go. All in all it was a memorable lunch and I’m sure I’ll be bringing North Indian guests here who think idly and sambar (sambherrr to them ) is the South Indian staple . Oh by the way , though they try their level best to be fine dining , you can hear the brute energy with which they run the kitchen every time someone opens the kitchen door . Poor kitchen team was getting yelled at by their supervisor most of the time ! Hehe these guys run a tight ship that’s sure to leave your stomach full ! Enjoy

I had a wonderful experience at Therkin Anjaraipetti! The service was warm and attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. Their Chettinad-style mutton chukka was absolutely outstanding—packed with authentic flavors and cooked to perfection. The mutton soup was rich, hearty, and comforting, while the tawa fish fry was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. If these dishes are anything to go by, I’m sure the rest of the menu will be just as delightful. I’ll definitely be revisiting with friends and family to explore more of what they have to offer. Highly recommended!

Gunpowder chicken was too good. Appam and nool parota was soft and served hot. Varuthu aracha kozhi was not too spicy as they mentioned. Tawa fish fry can be cooked in a better way.

Average food. Fish Fry not available. Briyani was not at all hot and fresh. Staff service is good but realised why it's good only when the bill came - they are charging 5% as service charge which is against law.

we went today after booking in advance. when we went at the scheduled time, the person who allots tables said our name was in the booking. later said we don't accept bookings. if so they shouldn't have listed their restaurant in zomato or easy diner. we were asked to wait if needed for more than 30 mins. he was very rude. didn't bother to even show any concern when we went with kid. didn't communicate properly also , his attitude was like wait if u want . it was almost 3 pm. we have never had an issue with booking via zomato or easy diner before. only this restaurant so far. ambience was also very bad. .worst experience.

Had a confirmed EasyDiner reservation for four, yet the staff rudely refused seating and asked us to wait 45 minutes, saying the booking was “not their problem.” Completely unacceptable. If reservations aren’t honored, they shouldn’t be listed on EasyDiner. Poor ambience, bad odor, dim lighting, and an overall unhygienic feel. Very disappointing experience.

This place should be shut down. I had placed an online order and the food was an absolute let down. Old meat, i literally received old meat. Old fish old prawns god knows how long before they made it. It’s poison disguised as food. DISGUSTING

I booked at 2. I arrived at correct time. They made me wait 10 minutes and asked to share a table. If you can't even give a seperate table, stop taking bookings

No cooperation at all. They delay between every single dish. I have the gravy, but not the rice, rice but not gravy. Appam is like adhirasam
