Hands down one of my favourite places for South Indian food! Every single dish is lip-smacking and quite generous in portions. I've taken so many non South-Indian and non-Indian friends here and they've all had amazing experiences. Charles is an excellent staff here. Honestly all thr people who work here are brilliant and quick. You can rest assured you'll have a fantastic dining experience here.

I’ve been visiting Thinnai Mess for years now, and it’s easily one of my favorite spots. The service is always amazing, the staff make you feel right at home. But the real star is their mutton biriyani! It’s rich, flavorful, and comforting every single time. No matter how many places I try, I always find myself coming back here.

The food was great, although the starters quantities are less. But the taste was amazing! Their Potlam Kozhi rice was a hit along with their Karupatti Halwa. We also enjoyed the other dishes. Service was great, very soft and humble people :)

Starters were good, service was impeccable. The potlam rice and biryani were mid. This is not a review but just personal opinion. Kola urundai is must try and vellai poondu chicken fry was also good.

Average food, less varieties in non veg meals for the cost. Service was extremely bad. The sides, sambar, rasam and everything was served one by one or only when asked.

Visited this restaurant for a family lunch. We ordered three non-veg meals and one veg meal, along with side dishes of Pallipalayam chicken and milagu (pepper) chicken gravy. The non-veg meals included soup and ragi mudde, but no vegetables were served. The accompaniments consisted of cold and unappetizing chicken and prawn thokku, plus a few chutneys. The chicken, mutton, and fish curries were bland and disappointing. The Pallipalayam chicken was ridiculous—the meat was tough and chewy. The only redeeming item was the pepper chicken gravy, though even there, the chicken was hard and rubbery. The veg meal was the worst of all. A payasam dessert, included with the meals, was overly sweet. Service was subpar; we had to wait patiently for rice refills or additional curries. The total bill was around ₹2,400, which was absolutely not worth the experience. I would definitely not recommend this restaurant.
