We visited Up North at Pullman yesterday with very high expectations, but unfortunately, the experience was deeply disappointing. We were a group of six, with five of us opting for the set menu and one ordering à la carte. The starters were average at best and lacked the quality and flavor one would expect from a restaurant of this stature. However, the main course was where the experience truly went downhill. We ordered the Butte Ka Kebab, which was clearly undercooked. When we brought this to the attention of the staff, they said they would inform the chef. After some time, the same two pieces were brought back to the table, and we were asked to check them again. The kebab was still undercooked and had a soft, uncooked texture inside. Even after we pointed this out a second time, there seemed to be a reluctance to accept the issue or acknowledge our concern, which was extremely disappointing. Another dish that was a major letdown was the Burrata Chaat. What sounded exciting on the menu turned out to be quite underwhelming and failed to deliver either in taste or presentation. For a restaurant of this caliber, we expected much better execution. The biggest disaster of the evening was the maincourse and especially the Pindi Chole. It was excessively salty to the point of being almost inedible. It completely spoiled the dish and was shocking considering this is one of the restaurant’s signature North Indian offerings. A basic flaw such as over-seasoning at this level was extremely disappointing. The service throughout the evening was equally frustrating. My father was enjoying his drinks and had specifically requested that his dinner be served a little later. When we subsequently asked for fresh hot rotis, the staff’s reaction and body language clearly conveyed annoyance, as though accommodating a simple request was an inconvenience. It genuinely felt like they were just waiting for us to finish and leave. Another example of the poor service was with a Kala Khatta mocktail that we had ordered. After finishing the first one, we requested a repeat order. Surprisingly, the request was completely forgotten. The server was nowhere to be seen for nearly 20 minutes. When we finally managed to ask about the mocktail, we were informed it was being prepared, yet it took another 15 minutes to arrive. Such delays and lack of attentiveness are unacceptable, especially in a restaurant that positions itself as a premium dining destination. What made the experience even more disappointing was that despite spending approximately ₹28,000, there was no sense of hospitality, urgency, or genuine concern for guest satisfaction. Good food can sometimes make up for service lapses, and good service can sometimes make up for food issues, but unfortunately, we experienced neither. This visit was a major letdown and fell far below the standards one would expect from Up North at Pullman. Based on our experience, I would not recommend it.

They do not mention that the 15% off is just on food. District app says it is 15% off on total bill but it is not.
