Every time I visited VR Mall in Chennai, I kept telling myself, “I should try this place someday.” This time, I finally did though not at the VR Mall outlet, but at their store inside ITC Grand Chola, right next to the Fabelle store. I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of ice cream flavours available. Being a caramel lover, I was torn between a caramel cookie option and something that sounded unusual lemon and caramel. I decided to take the risk, and honestly, it turned out to be a great choice. I never expected lemon and caramel to work so well together, but it was beautifully balanced. For me, it was just as satisfying as a good salted caramel ice cream. A single scoop with nougat almond slice topping costs around ₹250, which feels quite reasonable considering the luxury setting. It’s definitely a pocket-friendly indulgence with a premium vibe.
