Zaitoon signature. Nungambakkam. Chennai. Ramzan feast. Zaitoon’s Ramzan feast is well known and most sought after for several years now. They give you a large bamboo tray with price list as you step in. You can walk around the place and choose hot and freshly prepared items and pay when you exit. Lot of vegetarian and desserts too ! We tried Hyderabad chicken 65, zataar breads, cheese carrot baklava. Must try.

The service was friendly and attentive, and the ambience was cozy with great decor. However, the food was disappointing for the price. The BBQ tasted more like tandoori chicken, lacking the smoky flavor I expected. The parathas were dry, and the gravy was bland. I’d love to see more authentic flavors and better value for the high prices.

Worst Majlis Experience. Lack of service. Signature is just a marketing tactic & nothing else. Not worth the long wait time to get a table.

This place used to be very consistent until a few months ago. Unfortunately, their food and service have significantly declined. I visited on a weekday this week, and it was less crowded. Based on the recommendations from the waiter, I ordered the Chef’s Special Fried Rice and Volcano Chicken. I specifically asked what was special about the Chef’s Special Fried Rice, and the response was that it included both regular fried rice and Schezwan fried rice, served together on a plate and wrapped in a plain omelette. When the food arrived, the fried rice was disappointing—the quality didn’t even match that of other Zaitoon branches. As for the Volcano Chicken, the sauce tasted more like a noodle sauce and lacked distinctiveness. Considering this is Zaitoon Signature, their premium dining space, the food quality should meet higher standards. I sincerely hope the curator or chef tries the Chef’s Special Fried Rice to understand its shortcomings. I also shared this feedback with the manager, but I’m not sure if it will reach the chef.

Shockingly infuruating experience with valet service at Zaitoon Sigbature today. It took 1 hour for the staff to retrieve my car which was parked kilometers away and driver seems to have forgotten where he parked!! They had noted car number wrong and I had to search with them to get the keys in the first place. The co-ordinator showed total disregard to the situation and had no accountability and no sense of urgency whatsoever. He did not even show an intent to help until his manager was called upon. The is not just mismanagement but sheer negligence and breach of trust. This incident wasted my time and caused immense stress. Appalling level of service and unacceptable on every level. Such irresponsibility spoiled my entire experience and would never recommend this horrible hotel ever.

We had 2 starters and a chicken mandi. The starts were excellent. One was chicken satay Nd other was adana kebab. The starters taste was excellent. The chicken mandi they gave was too salty and one of the worst mandi i ate ever in chennai. But the real problem is not that. We went to express avenue after that. After an hour of shopping, we both had food poisoning due to this food. Mind you we did not eat anything since morning. The rating for this restaurant needs to be reduced more. I saw 3.3 rating here and 4star rating on google map and went trusting that. I should have trusted this zomato review more.

I am a regular visitor of zaitoon but this particular branch was a pure disappointment in terms of service as well as food. The meat was stale and taste does not live up to zaitoon standards or even any decent restaurants . The waiters were not so hospitable and we were constantly asked to pay the bill even before we finished our food (this was when there is no crowd) . Overall it was a complete disappointment and tarnishes the brand of zaitoon.

Horrible experience we have to run behind the waiter…. They don’t serve food and they get incorrect food I asked for Thai Chicken Curry they served us Thai Veg Currry. The ambience is as noisy as local street restaurant. AC was switched on only after the crowd came

parking facility. waiting time to get vehicle back was more than half an hour. During Vallet parking should be careful in keeping the costly item in car

Couldn’t find a zero star. Both food and service were poor. A pathetic experience and wouldn’t suggest it to anyone.
