Good flavour. bit pricy. 200/- for a cookie (big one though). Guess quality comes at a price.

I was quite surprised to see a luxurious bakery/ dessert shop in a city like CBE since I thought it might not take off but this one did grab my attention. It took a long while for me to go through their menu and comprehend their dishes with their fresh cakes. Basque cheesecake pastry - Smoky Caramelized top layer with spongy inner, so damn creamy with a hint of salt, not a hard base which was enjoyable!! 😊 Brookie - Super good brownie-cookie combo with a soft base and a crunchy top; sweet, flavorful, AWESOME!! 😘 Biscoff tres leches - A rich lotus Biscoff base soaked in milk with tres leches topping; this Mexican sponge cake was smooth, sweet from the condensed milk, and topped with whipped cream. All milk - all good 🙌 Millionaire brownie - A combination of gooey brownie covered with chocolate similar to a truffle cake; silky smooth, creamy and so damn sweet 😋 Opera pastry - A beautifully crafted pastry that resembles an opera theater; it has layers of almond cake in coffee sauce, Ganache, and French cream in an eye candy Chocolate glaze. Crunchy at spots, melts in mouth, and is very soulful ❤️ An occasional dessert spot which is a bit expensive but the ambience is comforting. Well-lit, with bright colors, and vibrant all around. Decent parking spot available with the place located on the first level and service was okay.

As someone who appreciates the artistry behind fine pastries and chocolates, my visit to Amote was eagerly anticipated. Upon sampling a variety of their offerings, including chocolates, macarons, and cookies, here's what I thought: It's evident that great attention to detail and care went into crafting the visually stunning treats on display at Amote. However, when it comes to taste, I found their chocolates to be a bit lacking. While the macarons were certainly visually appealing, I couldn't help but feel that their flavor didn't quite live up to the hype. However, the cookies at Amote truly shone, surpassing all expectations with their delicious taste and impeccable quality. Having said that, It's important to note that taste preferences are subjective, and I'm certainly not claiming to be a professional food critic. These reflections are simply based on my own personal opinions and experiences. In summary, while Amote undeniably excels in the realms of fancy packaging and branding, there is room for improvement in the taste department, particularly with their chocolates. Nevertheless, I would definitely recommend giving their chocolates chip chunkey cookies a try.
