You get the best service here, the waiters are very polite and attentive. The food here is damn good too.

Food was good and they even customized our orders per our preference. but at a 5 star expect they give fresh plates after every course and even provide fresh cutlery and remove used plates in front of me

RECEIVED THE WORST SERVICE EVER POSSIBLE BY A RESTAURANT at Chin Chin, Coimbatore Chin Chin has been a regular place for us since so many years. However in the recent visits, the service and quality has degraded, but was at least acceptable, until today. We had a group booking today for an occasion. Since we were a group, to make things simpler, we ordered most of the dishes a few days in advance itself, through the manager. So we ordered only a very few additional dishes on the day. Few of the starters were served, and then they brought the main course. When we asked what happened to the remaining starters which were ordered previously itself, the waiter, Mr. Vinod, claimed that he already served those. When we said it was not served, he says he will show us the CCTV footage, and claims he did serve them, and with an awful attitude. Dont we know what we ate? And then a few minutes later, he accepted it and got those starters after we finished the main course itself. Is this the way to treat a customer in a 4/5 star hotel? Especially when the staff was at fault! Either he is unfit for the role or Residency Towers really needs to train their staff before appointing them. Also when serving, especially different non veg dishes, they just blindly serve everyone and try to run away. Don't even have the courtesy to ask whether that particular dish/meat is ok. It is served as if it is some free offering, literally thrown on the plate. Also to note, spilled the food on me while serving. And then came the desserts. Expecting a long wait, we did place the order while still eating, however it took almost 30 min for the desserts to come. This delay didn't bother us much initially. Then as one of the kids asked for an additional scoop of vanilla ice cream, Mr. Vinod said "It will take more than 20 minutes. Do you still want it?". This sentence literally means don't ask for it, especially the attitude he had. Even though it is a long time for a scoop of vanilla ice cream, the time didn't bother us. It is the way they treat the customer. These were just a few incidents to mention. If I start describing each, then it would go for pages. After all this terrible meal experience, they give us the bill with a service charge. Firstly, it is ILLEGAL to add service charge in a restaurant. But we don't bother about it usually, when the service is good and we come out satisfied. But today, even after we went through such a terrible time, they don't even have the shame to at least remove that part of the bill. With no hesitation or shame, they ask you on your face for that additional illegal service charge. And all of this was under the manager's presence! Residency has now got the attitude of they can do whatever they want, and treat the customers like they come for some free offering. Thank you for making this our last visit to your place ever! We were a big enough group to spread this word around, and ensure other's dont get cheated like us at The Residency Towers, Coimbatore.

Went there Thursday night with my office team. To my surprise the place was bustling with people. Service was decent. However, to describe the food quality i have no other word than "horrible". The meat tasted weird, like it was stale. Every single dish was deep fried, in I don't know which kinda oil, so it made your throat hurt. Most of the ordered dishes tasted similar. In today's times, the menu, chef and recipes all require an urgent upgrade.
