Ask anyone where to try some good chettinad food in Coimbatore, and the name Haribhavanam invariably crops up. And so here I was, with a eager belly ready for some lip smacking delicacies. My happiness was short lived when my pot bellied colleague announced that he will only have vegetarian dishes due to some religious beliefs. So I was left on my own. My order meals and fish fry. The meals is a regular affair, with the chutney being the exception. But the gravies is another story. You will love it, if you like spices. It is not too spicy but a thick, flavourful gravy. A secret tip, there is a nattu kozhi (country chicken) gravy available for meals, but only if you ask. This is not for the diet conscious or weight watchers. A light gravy with all the chicken fat, and a unique flavour. The fish fry however was a disappointment. Not so fresh and definitely not worth the price. Need to try this place again for the other non veg dishes.

A very affordable eating joint which offers food with a great taste. The thing I most liked was traditional South Indian way of dining on a banana leaf. This was my first time eating on this leaf as a plate. The starters like chicken tikka, hariyali chicken tikka, fish are very tasty and sufficient in quantity. The dish which stood out was the mutton biryani, really nice with a great taste of nutmeg and cinnamon. Highly recommended for visit.

Nice location n family restaurant. The staff was ok n the restaurant is mid size. Had full diet meals n Mutton Chettinad. The food was served on banana leaves and the taste was excellent. They served 4 sabji along with acar n papad. Also three non veg curries n dal sambhar rasam n lassi. Sweet missing. Mutton Chettinad was on coimbatore style. Average mirchi but tastes where good Average pricing quite ok

Came here for the first time for team lunch ! When my friends told about the biriyani here I did not trust them . But when I just tasted it , it was one of the best biriyani 😍😍😍ever had in the town ! I loved all the fish recipes. Wish they had shakes and ice creams too !

Roof top garden was great in ambience, the food was usual good... but the time to wait was too much, the item got cold when it was brought to table still flavour didn't reduce. items are priced at higher scale

Horrible experience! Don't go to this restaurant, if couple of your friends running little late to the table or if you have a baby. Staffs here are totally unaccomodating and will say the items are not available today but you can see those are served to a different table. Pathetic to hear from one of the staff saying as its a peak time we cant wait more on a single table.. Awful customer service..!

Beyond taste, quantity and quality of food, is the quality of service. But when service personnel are arrogant and cause displeasure you end up getting a bad rating in spite of great food!

Worst biriyani i had never eat before like this and rs 200 is heavy to pay for this type of briyani and it's madness of ordering there once again

The hotel is closed at 4:30pm and opens at 6:30pm there is information about this. Pls check and go! Very on unprofessionally treated.

I ordered non veg meals- very less in quantity and price is too high . Rice quality is very worst. Waste of money...
