​Disappointing Experience at Lord of the Drinks (LOD Lounge) ​Visited on Friday, August 14th, and overall, it was a very frustrating experience despite the good initial ambience. ​AC & Comfort: The venue was packed, but the AC was completely non-functional. Spending the evening in a stuffy, uncooled space made it very uncomfortable. ​Hygiene & Pest Control: During our time on the seating area, we spotted cockroaches crawling right next to us on the sofa. ​Management & Staffing: When we brought the pest issue to the attention of the Operations Manager, he simply smiled and offered no solution or apology. To make matters worse, before leaving, we had to witness the same manager loudly reprimanding a staff member in full view of guests regarding a payment issue—completely unprofessional behavior that should have been handled privately in an office. ​Billing Discrepancy: When we reviewed our final bill, we noticed a "Gold-L Cocktail" listed for ₹400 under the liquor section, which was actually a cigarette pack purchase. Because it was billed as a cocktail under the liquor tab, we were charged the 14.5% VAT applicable to alcohol on top of standard taxes. ​While the floor service staff tried their best, the lack of basic maintenance, poor management response, and billing inaccuracies ruined the evening. We were visiting on a business trip from Bangalore, but we certainly won't be returning.
