The ambience is lovely and so is the staff. The food could have been better but that's just our taste. For a date it's the perfect restaurant.

The Afghan grill used to have an amazing festive menu but this time fell short of what it used to once be. I doubt they read these reviews but if they do it would help if they could focus on getting their food to taste better since they have such an amazing deck. The food is obviously overpriced at places like these since it's all about exclusivity but it would also help if the food tasted as good as what one pays for it. We had the pattar ka ghosht, nalli nihari, lucknowi biriyani and a few naans. Overall you can go there for their beautiful ambience and mediocre food.

For a dining experience in a 4 star hotel The Afghan Grill can do even better in terms of taste. The Starters were mediocre - maybe the chef was having a bad day. The location and waiting staff were fabulous, can’t ask anything more of them. Request the management to look into the taste quotient, in the longer run it can cost the institution the ‘repute’ it dearly toiled and earned.

Service was really good (Mr. Karthik). Very good ambience along the pool in a garden setup. Food was good, around 3 - 4 Stars depending on the dish.

I visited Afghan Grill with high expectations, but the experience was quite disappointing. The food lacked the rich flavour dishes felt bland and not freshly prepared. In particular, mutton kebab and Rogan Josh was underwhelming. Service was slow with long waiting times and minimal attention from the staff. It felt like there was a lack of coordination overall. Given the pricing, the experience did not justify the cost. There is definitely room for improvement in both food quality and service.

complained about human hair inside chicken marination and got told "sometimes it happens", eat here - if you want to eat low quality food at high price
