Beautiful Decoration

First of all, the place is BEAUTIFUL! It's adjacent to the owner's residence, which is beautiful in itself. The ambience, service, taste, everything is superb. One may find the prices to be on the higher side, but it's all worth it. The falafel platter, Mediterranean pizza and the cheesecake, all are scrumptious. The customer service is excellent. They even served slices of their new BBQ sauce pizza, free of cost. The cheesecake is to die for! The owner, Radhika came in for a little chat, which adds to the overall experience and customer satisfaction. In a nutshell, you can visit Coonoor even for just this one place and you won't be disappointed. ❤️🍰🍕

A beautiful cafe indeed in midst of Coonoor. It's super calm and you can througly experience the nature and some great vegetarian food. You need to book in advance to enjoy the above. For must trys here I would recommend sourdough pizza and cheesecake for sure.

The entrance to the cafe is super beautiful! A long stretch of garden along a narrow pathway leading towards the cafe sitting on the hill surrounded by the Nilgiris on all sides. The view is beautiful and it's worth going there for lunch or high tea (as it shuts by 5.30 during winter). Cafe diem is pure vegetarian so we were very happy to visit! The food however was strictly ok. We called for the following items:- 1) Tomato soup - it was sweeter than what we usually get outside. 2) Rosemary green tea - This was nice and refreshing. 3) Vegetable pizza - The pizza was too cheesy and very less veggies. Very bland and no spice at all. 4) Alio oglio - they had put cheese in it! Alio oglio must not have cheese in it! It's simple spaghetti tossed in olive oil, herbs and minced garlic. This was so chunky, we had to send it back. 5) Quinoa chocolate cake - superb and yummy 6) Tiramisu - this was the best part of our meal! It was so delicious! I wish we would have ordered 1 more portion of it! Overall go there for the vibe and the view and don't expect 5/5 food

This is a beautifully done place with home garden setup along with the restaurant. This place requires prior reservation. The menu is different for each day. Organic vegetables are used. We had pumpkin soup, their chef special salad, pizza and pomegranate cheescake. Everything was great including the host. A must visit.

So nyc little quaint place with nyc residential garden n brilliant valley views. Pumpkin - Coconut soup is must try. Tasty salads. Veg pizza was sumptuous and delicious. Main course however we didn't enjoy too much. Must have their Filter coffee and Guavav ice cream. Also try their Pomme Chesse cake

It is a quaint cafe with a beautiful garden leading upto it. The view of the hills is also great. The food is average. While the pumpkin soup and mango avocado salad I would rate highly, the sourdough pizza with mozzarella and sun-dried tomatoes was a disappointment. Seemed like tomato paste smeared on the pizza base with dollops of cheese. No identifiable taste. The tiramisu was more like a trifle pudding. Have had much better ones earlier

Like most customers we visited this cafe after reading all the overwhelming reviews. The location of the cafe is very scenic and the decor is rustic. Food : which we were not happy about it. Bruschetta we ate just tasted raw tomatoes with no tinge of Italian herbs or olive oil. We took pesto pasta, the pasta was way too undercooked, far from being al dente.

Below average food not worth the extra effort to visit if you are a tourist! Service was very slow. Go for a good restaurant near you, you would not have missed anything!
