It's a big place with a huge seating arrangement. They are famous for their bakery items. Ordered Darjeeling tea, Chocolate brownie, chocolate chips muffin, Cream roll, Danish eggless bread and cheese chicken pie. All were very tasty. Good quality was maintained and all were freshly baked. Price is little on higher side but it's worth visiting. Staffs are generous.

The Glenary's Bakery is an iconic destination of Darjeeling. When you walk by Glenary's towards the Darjeeling mall the aroma of the bakery will definitely lure you in. They have a huge variety of pastries, biscuits, savouries and chocolates on display. We ordered roast chicken sub sandwich, hot chocolate and cappuccino from the menu while enjoying the European charm of the place. Roast chicken slices were slightly bland in taste and also cold. Otherwise, the staffs are helpful and the service is prompt.

Glenary's is a must visit place if one is traveling in Darjeeling. We had the English breakfast, pork roast sandwich, chicken roast sandwich, scramble eggs, and Darjeeling tea. The food was really good. I fell in love with their pork sandwich as the pork melted in my mouth, and may I add one sandwich that is enough for two people. I also got some bakery goods from their bakery, every this was very fresh and tasted amazing.

Glenary’s is a must-visit spot in Darjeeling when u visit, offering a charming blend of a bakery and restaurant with a beautiful ambiance. The bakery section has a great selection of fresh pastries, cakes, and bread,perfect for a quick treat with coffee. The restaurant offers a variety of dishes with a great view, making it a nice place to relax. I have tried the breakfast and bakery items of theirs and i loved it..

visited the place 2 days in a row. on 1st day we ordered tres leches, hot chocolate and muffins (chocolate and blueberry). Tres leches were mins blowing but the muffins were unfortunately very disappointing.. hot chocolate was average on the second day we ordered pina colada pastry and chocolate slice. the pina colada pastry was barely tolerable and the chocolate slice was nice and fluffy but somehow lacked any specific chocolate taste. The demeanor in general is borderline rude and dare I say very unwelcoming. TLDR : Iconic place with rude staff and average desserts apart from Tres Leches (probably the only reason I might consider going again)

I am shocked this place is so highly rated. We bought 6 items from the bakery at random. Each and every item was sub par. I think it is because of lack of better options that the rating is so high. I also ordered items from the food menu which were alright but nothing to write home about.

Overhyped. I had heard about it a lot about this place, I tried a few things but the taste was very substandard The mango pastry was stale and the taste was bad. Would not recommend to anyone.

As they say - ‘People will forget what you said, forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.’ I have been a frequent traveler to Darjeeling and most definitely Glenary’s had been my favourite place to visit. But today, myself and my father was mistreated and was made to feel very poorly by Ms. NIMCHINKI, sorry if I have misspelled it but due to her I will no longer recommend or visit Glenary’s myself ever.

Read reviews of horrible experiences at cafe and they have not disappointed when it comes to bad taste and rude behaviour Staff is extremely rude and non-friendly. Taste is okaish, have had better, nothing too tasty to drool over. If you are a tourist and compelled to visit here because it is a must. Miss it! You will not be missing out on anything.
