When it comes to authentic South Indian food there are very limited options in Dehradun. I have been trying all the places for South Indian food and Cafe Chennai seems to be the most authentic and best place for so. It's pocket friendly & has ultimate hygiene maintained. I tried their rasam, fried idli, rawa dosa and Vada sambhar which was the best I've had so far. I would definitely suggest this place to everyone out there who loves to eat South Indian food because of the quality and quantity that they are serving.

South Indian cuisine cravings have now got a one stop solution. The authenticity at @cafechennai_official speaks in every bite. Prices here are as pocket friendly as they can ever get and there's no compromise on the portion size. Tried their dosa, which was worth ordering. Dips they serve alongside are Cherry on the cake.

Finally a place in town that serves authentic South Indian food. I ordered the deluxe thali in which I got a masala dosa on idli, medhu vada and an uttapam and a rasa kesari. Every dish was just true to its taste. I highly recommend this place if you like South Indian food. Totally budget friendly as well.

They had a really good South Indian food menu huge variety.I had masala dosa and the spices and aroma was very different from the one we usually eat in north side, the chutney was scrumptious and my mom loved the sambhar since dosa is her favourite dish she really enjoyed the taste!

Finally found the best place to have south Indian food in dehradun. Loved the food it was delicious. Tried their dosa, idli and Vada combo. Everything was very fresh and delicious. If you are also finding a place to have south Indian food then this has to be your go to place.

Had ordered their mini south Indian platter which included a masala dosa, idli, uttapam, vada, 2 chutneys and sambhar. Enough quantity to serve 2 people. Taste was authentic South Indian. Would love to visit this outlet again!

It’s a great experience. The ambience is very welcoming and charming. Amazing food and service. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations.I love the food ,dosa is my favourite.
