Where - Take a right turn from marigold cafe, near MDDA park. ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ Ambience - 4/5. By now you pretty much have an idea of how the place look like. It is a pool side cafe situated away from the busy city life of Dehradun. The place is calm and sorrounded with forest that makes the entire environment quite peaceful. Consider it very similar to riverstone cottages but a little less fancy. The unique selling point of this place is a large pool which is available for guests as it's hot nowadays. The in-house restaurant and outdoor garden seating is not so bad either. You get that classic hills view and a pool view. On the other hand trees and greenery around the place makes the place less hotter. ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ Food - 3.5/5. Food is decent and you will pretty much get everything you need after swimming. The thing is, I would suggest you to go there for swimming because you will not find anything special with the taste however, the quantity is enough. Considering I can swim and eat afterwards on the pool side area, I can't really complain. I can compromise on the food when every other thing is perfect whether it is service or staff behaviour. Honestly, I get super hungry after swimming session and I'll pretty much eat anything but for you guys it might be different. ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ Price : The hourly rate of pool has increased to 250 which was 200 in other time of the year. This is a amazing place with a pool surrounded by mountains on all four side. You can use pool with nominal charges. Approach to this place is bit tricky as you have to drive to kacha rasta to get to the place. It is opt for romantic lunches & pool side group party. Food was decent & services was fine. It they could improve on food & services it would have been gr8..

This cafe is located at a place where there's no civilization and it's so isolated from the city that it's almost scary to be there. Also, the way to reach there is crooked and even riskier than mussorie road. All this could've been compansated had the cafe been up to the mark but that wasn't what happened. We didn't see a single other person there and even the menu was full of dust and torn pages, so we didn't order anything and just returned. Though the pool area was beautiful and the view was good but wasn't worth taking the risk reaching there. There are many other places with pool sides in Dehradun and countless cafes on mussoorie road if a good view is what matters to you. I drove to that place for the view because I saw photos on zomato bt that too wasn't worth the pain. Disappointing overall.
