I visited this cafe with my friend who lives in Dehradun. It is one of the most beautiful place to hang out. The food was yum too, and the mountain view was cherry on the top. We ordered pizza and hot chocolate in the chilling weather and it was the right choice. The pizza was super cheesy and hot chocolate felt like heaven. The outer sitting space was much more beautiful as it feels like having food surrounded by mountains.

visited this lovely cafe on Old Mussoorie road today, and spent a couple of hours reading, with the mountains in the backdrop. the view adds to the peace, and looks surreal in the rain. had butter cake and ginger lemon honey tea, both were amazing. and hospitality too was wonderful. thanks for the efforts, special mention to Ms. Payal. will return here soon I hope :)

They have the best chicken melt sandwich I ever had in Dehradun. The Cafe Mocha to die for the ambience is so pretty the view is gorgeous. The staff is really sweet. A must visit specially for breakfast.

Chhaya cafe used to be my favourite haunt back in the day (2006-). Coming back here the other day was a lovely feeling. The place looks fantastic and still has the familiar comfortable feel. It’s perfect to catch a midweek breakfast or a light brunch. My favourite dishes are still there and nothing has changed in terms of taste. My favourites are the chicken pot pie with the salad on the side. My other favourites are the Shaksuka, carrot cake, chicken wrap. The best part about the food is it’s neat, clean, homely, healthy. The flavours are wonderful and wholesome. (Frankly if you’re looking for the masala laden/chatpata food this is not your cup of tea) I’m looking forward to trying out the pizzas as they have a new wood fire oven.

Chhaya cafe is a quaint little cafe on the road to Mussorie , popular for its vibe and surrounding nature. They also have a small apparel store at the entrance where one can shop! While it offers a few meal options as well, we ordered : 🌟Ginger lemon honey tea for Rs. 90 🌟 Cafe Mocha for Rs. 120 🌟Chocolate ball for Rs. 25 🌟Tea cake for Rs. 40 🌟Carrot cake for Rs. 125 Mocha coffee was our favorite with its deep coffee chocolate flavor. The vibe is v relaxing with most customers working on their projects with a cup of hot coffee. The view is inspiring as well, with the hills providing a beautiful backdrop to their terrace seating. For book lovers, this cafe has some books collection as well!

I'm going to go on a rant here- This place has great view and they've upped their decor too but apart from that, the basics- the food is absolutely shit. We ordered 3 things- Chicken Pot Pie which want severely undercooked. French fries which they served Without Salt. On asking why the fries weren't salted the answer we got was, "We don't add salt to our fries here". Despite all this, my friend still went again to give it another and guess what she got this time! Floating ants in her Cafe Mocha. Calling this place absolutely shit is honestly an understatement. However my friend who just drank half a cup of floating ants wants me to add that she loves this place anyway😒

the cafe is only for view ..the quantity of the food is also less plus the quality of the food is degrading over there day by day ..they should improve there cooking skills
