What a samosa guys! One samosa for 15 INR but its definitely a worth! They will instantly fry in front of you and serve you hot with two type of chutneys! You can order this quick snack now online too but they will charge 17 INR per samosa for it.

This place makes me so nostalgic, i still occasionally visit the busy little shop to buy me some samosas. Samosas are synonymous with jaina in Dehradun i guess.

Jaina is one of the most well known (and also one of the oldest) places to buy samosas in Dehradun with their signature inclusion of a piece of paneer! 1. Location Near Bindal Bridge on Chakrata Road. Parking - you need to look for a spot on the roadside. 2. Seating and Ambiance Minimalistic and functional. 3. Service The staff is polite and very efficient. 4. Food I tried the two most popular preparations - PANEER SAMOSA and PANEER BREAD PAKODA. Both of the above are traditional recipes with a rather significant presence of paneer - the perfect definition of a "quick bite". Conclusion : Jaina's samosas are things that people swear by and you must try at least one to know why! Pro-tip : Remember to ask for chutney separately (and not in the same plate as your order).

We got here on a rainy morning at around 11am, got freshly fried samosas, pakoras & bread pakora. While the bread pakora was super salty, super oily, the rest was good. The samosa was crispy, flaky, pretty good, the pakoras were also good. The chutney served here isn't the best, which i think let's this place down but a good experience overall!
