Visited Kalsang Cafe last month for brunch. Ordered Pineapple & Orange juice, Ultimate meat lovers pizza, Bao, Chocolate cheesecake and Carrot cheesecake. The juices and pizza were good. Chocolate cheesecake was heavenly. I didn't like the Bao and the Carrot cheesecake. Really liked the ambience. Would love to visit this Cafe again to try more items on their menu. And I'm definitely having that Chocolate cheesecake again!

I've been to Kalsang Cafe like 6-8 times now and I have tried a variety of breakfast options, pizzas, pastas and even some korean options. I have to say they never disappoint. This is honestly my favourite place for a mood change, a weekend plan with family or friends. The staff is really amazing, so friendly and nice. The interior is beautiful and very hygienic. Would recommend this place 💯

overall: 4/5 good ambience, i really like the designs/decor. good music too, has clean washroom available and friendly staff. food is nice 👍 also has parking available outside and a friendly guard who helps you find a spot to park extra: the post it notes near the entrance had drawings of gojo and geto! 🥹🫶 reviews of the food we ordered: jhol momo: very good, some people might find it a little spicy but 5/5 the momo bit tastes like a normal momo, but the gravy is unique lemon cheesecake: nice but its not very cheesecakey (as in texture was a little different) it leaned more towards whipped cream texture, it was lighter/less dense than a cheesecake but tastes good and quality is good too. 4/5 matcha latte: nice but some people might find it a little too sweet. the matcha flavour is good, it isn't too weak or strong rabokki: ramen wasn't that great, the tobokki was pretty decent. it was not spicy and wasn't that chewy either, so if you're new to korean food then this might be good for you as it's not too overwhelming. that being said, if you're a korean food lover who has these foods often you might be a little disappointed.

The food is good but they need to work on their service. We ordered 2 mains (one for each of us) and they came 20 minutes apart. The staff were clueless about the delay and kept saying it’s on the way.

I recently visited Kalsang on Rajpur Road, and unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory. We ordered noodles, Wai Wai Laphing, salad, blueberry smoothie, and mango smoothie. While the drinks were quite good, the food was just average — nothing special. The major issue came when we found a big hair in our food. We immediately reported it to the staff, and one of them said he would inform the chef — but no one followed up after that. There was no apology, no offer to replace the food, and no sense of accountability. We then raised the complaint with the manager on duty, but even he gave us a vague response and didn’t seem concerned. This kind of service is simply unacceptable, especially when the problem involves hygiene and food safety. There was no courtesy shown, and the staff behaved like it wasn’t a big deal. When such issues are raised, the least expected is an apology and a resolution. What’s worse is that this wasn’t the first time. During a previous visit to the Kalsang outlet near Clock Tower, we had found a bug in the soup. Clearly, this is not an isolated incident but a pattern of negligence in kitchen hygiene and cleanliness. It seems like your kitchen needs a serious inspection, and your staff needs proper training on how to handle customer complaints and maintain food hygiene. These issues are not just disappointing — they’re concerning. I strongly urge the management to take these concerns seriously. Until then, I advise people to check their food properly before eating and think twice before visiting.

Extremely disappointing experience. We ordered shredded chicken chop suey and ended up waiting 45 minutes because the staff forgot to prepare it. During that time, different staff members kept coming to our table asking the same questions about our order again and again, which clearly showed a complete lack of coordination. There was no proper update or communication from their side. To make matters worse, we even found a hair in our soup bowl. This reflects very poorly on both service and hygiene standards. Completely unacceptable and truly ruined our dining experience.Would not recommend going to this place.

Wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. I ordered Veg platter and they served chicken. I have been a vegetarian my whole life and this particular incident was very distressing and traumatising. Please don’t go there they do not care about anything. Very unprofessional.
