Visited Kalsang restaurant last month for lunch. Chicken Shaptak with Gravy & Tingmo are my favourite things to have here. Love the seating next to the windows. The service is good. Will be visiting again to try even more items on their menu.

The food definitely is good and quantity is on a higher side. Menu is vast and varied and covers almost entire Tibetan cuisine. Not overpriced as well. I ordered thukpa and shaptik. No room for complaints. Staff is lovable.

The food is better in Delhi, no doubt. The service was relatively very, very slow, even though the place was almost empty. We had ema Datshi, tingmos, thukpa and cheese Momo. But only Thukpa was nice rest all of it was average. We were a group of 6 people and nobody liked the food.

All the tables were dirty to the extend that they were sticky. The food was okay. Emma datshi was really nice. Mutton momos was just okay juicy but not good. To the extend non of us wanted to finish the last two. Chicken momos were okayish too. No real chicken flavour though

I feel that the restaurant's quality has declined and it's now overhyped. The food tastes average, but they still charge high prices because they know people will come regardless. They also use excessive food coloring

Forced to eat the type of food which we specifically didn’t ask for - when I ordered the chilli chicken bao I made sure from one of the blue shirt guys (Captains I presume) that it should be dry and NOT SWEET & SOUR, he said the chilli chicken bao is sweet and sour and not dry, however he gave us an option for the normal chicken bao and assured us that it is DRY & NOT SWEET at alll, when we got the food it was clearly not Dry (Unlinke the universal bao). When I asked them for the explanation a different blue shirt guy came and gave us an explanation that our version of chicken bao is like this. I understand your own version of the bao but that is clearly something I didn’t want. Then I said I clearly didn’t want this kind of bao as I told the blue shirt guy before you. I was told ‘Try it one and you’ll feel good’ (very weird way of persuading) at the end we ended up taking one bite and not liking it had to waste the food. They saw us not packing up the food also, still didn’t care to ask what went wrong. Forcing someone to have the food that they specifically said they didn’t like is not acceptable.

I visited the restaurant after seeing its high rating. I had tried the Mall of Dehradun branch and had been satisfied. I expected similar experience here. I ordered Wai-Wai laphing, Kimchi-jeon, Shin ramen, and Doenjang Jjigae. All the items came extremely late, even laphing that takes hardly any time. Kimchi-jeon was oily, laphing lacked flavours, and Doenjang jjigae was extremely dilute. The final product was nothing like the image in menu. An utter waste of time and money. Will never visit again.

I was shocked to find a sharp stapler pin in my food at [kalsang cafe ], which could have caused serious internal injury if consumed. This is a major lapse in food safety. I urge others to be cautious. I have reported this to the FSSAI and appropriate authorities. Such negligence must not be tolerated.

Stinky pathetic veg momos! They were literally smelling. Thank god there was no food poisoning as I had half of it. It was a take away order on Sunday from raipur road outlet. Please see what rotten vegetables you had put. I’d have returned it then and there but realized it once I reached home.
