It’s always nice to look back into the old memories and this reminds me of my childhood. It’s as old as I can remember and has always been my favourite when it comes to family dinners. My mother has organised her kitties and we have had our parents anniversary parties here and kumar has always lived upto our expectations I have eaten their entire menu, if to say, and my personal favourite would be their butter chicken and lung fung soup. I can never say no to it.

Best restaurant in dehradun with high quality food at reasonable price. We have been going there for last 30 years and every time we visit dehradun now, this is a must go place especially for the unparalleled taste of lung fung soup, tomato fish and butter chicken. Quality and quantity are excellent. Ambience is decent and can be improved.

I really like the restaurant....We ordered veg noodles and cold coffee....Service was also on time...taste was luscious....Ambiance is also good well maintained hygienic...Love to hangout there again....{uid:102283061} Taste..5/5 Cost is little bit costly

The place is one of the best place to have food in Dehradun. The food is freshly prepared with intact flavors . They have a nice sitting place which can accommodate decent number of persons. Had chicken seekh kebab , Manchurian n Fried Rice...All the things were perfectly cooked n tasty. I also had lachcha parantha which was very soft as it was made with wheat flour... A must visit place if you're in Doon....

The food here is savoury.. I very much like the combination here.. Their Indian courses are good best part is a gravy without a good bread doesn't goes good but the breads here ate great soft and flavoursome even of you ordered them for delivery.. Its been a long time since they are standing tall I wish they remain so will be visiting soon been a while.. Missing their tatse

Kumar foods had always been the default go to place of almost most of the dehradun residents. The ambience is delicate and the service is homely,The food is good and the experience is always delightful. Here's what I had! 🍴Butter naan(Indian Flat bread) 🍴Mala kofta(Cottage cheese dumplings in curry) 🍴Masala lime Soda 🍴Tandoori chicken which is tender and just the best on the menu. 🍴Vegetable Manchurian 🍴Chilli Garlic Noodles 🍴Ginger Fried Rice For a decent family outing, Go pay a visit!

Was starving for some lip smacking Chinese ...so probably the first restaurant I went after reaching Doon had finger food manchow soup and spring rolls both decent in taste and as per the specification. A recommended restaurant for Chinese! Have not tried the other options, so cannot comment on it.

This is the youngest in the chain of Kumar’s eateries in Doon - after the success ok Kumar vegetarian a few shops away and primarily this was tinkle the the taste buds of the non veggies. I would suggest this is mediocre place and the veggie is a great place and I wud stick to the veggie when in the vicinity. The verdict If u wanna drink then go here else avoid.

I had butter chicken and naan at the restaurant butter chicken was eeally awful quantity was good but its taste was definitely not like the butter chicken its was more like a masala chicken there was no butter in it neithe they had put any cream over it After my complaint they have just added some spices and cream buy stil the taste was really awful I will never recommend any one to visit and have butter chicken As gar as Naan and roti is concerned it was good and hot However, since the main substance was awful as a result they have just spoiled my special dinner with my mom
