We visited Kumar's 20 years ago when it was just a sweet shop at Clock Tower. So we wanted to try their food after their impressive expansion. We went with our friends and tables were available for lunch. I ordered mattar paneer, dum aloo and lots of naan. My wife had rajma, and my son chilli paneer. Every dish was incredibly tasty. Just the right cream to tangy ratio on the paneer. And for the price, this is excellent value. Service was impeccable, too. I would definitely recommend a visit to this restaurant if you want great veg food.

One of the best vegetarian places in Dehradun. The food is consistently delicious with a wide variety to choose from – from North Indian to South Indian and snacks. Service is prompt and staff is very cordial . Clean, affordable, and always satisfying. I find myself going back often. Highly recommended!

When it comes in mind of "Vegetarian Food" one can think of "Kumar Vegetarian" at Rajpur Road just adjacent to Buffet Shop. The dishes are tasty, staff is polite and they have good options of South Indian dishes also. It's a branch of famous Kumar Sweet Shop. Dal Makhani & Amritsari Paneer was enjoyable with decent taste. Rating from Food'n'Travel Dil se Dil Tak 8.5/10.

I ordered the dal makhni from Kumar vegetarian it had so many stones just in one plate It tasted really bad the rotis were soo hard that one cudnt chew them Very poor service very very bad food the quality has really gone down

Cold food, dirty used plates cutlery used for serving pathetic food..incomplete order served..dirty table…ate halfway and left..will definitely remember this place.. not to go again!!! Avoid this place…

Very poor service.. Got half order served. Cold food. All other customers were also getting irritated due to late service.
