Once a gem, this place is no longer what it used to be. Being a doonite I use to visit Orchard frequently few years back. Since I moved to a different city, I visit Orchard whenever i am in doon. Yesterday was no different apart from the fact that the place was untidy, Server messed up the order and forgot about it. We kept waiting assuming the staff is overwhelmed and would serve soon but they actually forgot about our order. Once the order was served, the bowl was extremly hot most likely because they reheated with the bowl in microware which wasnt microwave safe. Some of the food items including noodles and momo felt stale. Eventually when we asked for the bill it took 3 reminders to the staff. It just makes me feel sad about loosing another gem. We were planning to host a Birthday party here next month but no more.

PLEASE AVOID GOING TO Orchard I have been going to here since last 10 years but offlate may be the chef has changed or change in management they are serving very bad food. I had ordered 4 things 1.Mushroom soup - The Broth was stale 2.Cheese Momos - The vegetables very undercooked 3.Stuffed mushroom - Again Stale and undercooked stuffing 4.Neapolitan Pizza - The Cheese used was stale and it was pathetic in taste I would request the management to seriously look into the matter your standards have gone down drastically and I'm really sad at this situation it used to be one of my favourite restaurant in Dehradun

It took 40 minutes for the order to arrive. And i had just ordered a mutton Thupka. And when i was reminding the waiters of the order, they didnt care at all. And all i heard from them is it will take time. Finally the order arrived , the Thupka was bland and not worth the wait at all. If you just want to go here for the ambience and the view then it’s okay but the service and food are surprisingly pathetic for the ratings. I guess the ratings are fake. You just cannot have such good ratings for such pathetic service.

It was my nth visit to orchard and i was very disappointed. It was not crowded and we got the place easily. Placed our order and waited for more than 45minutes. After multiple reminders the order arrived. The food taste was below average. The Garlic fried rice was all clustered and super oily. Veg Manchurian Gravy was great. Chilly Garlic noodles had no flavour at all. Even the classic veg kothe disappointed us hugely with oil dripping all over. A total disaster of a family dinner. Not expected from Orchard at least.

Overhyped and overpriced chicken momos. After having momos I didn't feel like trying anything else.. If they can't do the basic right then nothing can be expected. I suggest don't go, there are better places in Dehradun.. Yes the view is good but again not worth the food.. Also, the prices in the menu on Zomato and actual menu are very different.. more than 40% different..

⭐☆☆☆☆ Extremely Disappointed – Never Coming Back The service at Orchid in Dehradun is very bad and unbelievably slow. They say the food will be ready in 20 minutes, but it takes much longer — who knows how much time! No communication, no urgency, nothing. I’m never, ever going to come back here. Completely disappointed. I do not recommend this place at all.
