River flowing just next to the place, beautifully designed hut shaped cottages and mountains spread across the surrounding. Must visit for everyone who plans to spend a good time in Dehradun. The food is good and the liquor prices are even better. So just take a sip of your favourite beer or enjoy hot chocolate while sitting outside enjoying the weather of Doon. One of the most instragram worthy cafes in Dehradun with a peaceful atmosphere. Well that's what you're in Dehradun for, right? Food: 8/10 Ambiance: 9/10 Meal for 2: ₹1000

An amazing get-away from crowded Rajpur road. It is around 15-20 mins drive from Pacific Mall and the journey in itself will remind one of old doon. The ambience is amazing. It has both outdoor and indoor seating and is besides a small water stream. Drink options are limited most of the time. The biggest negative is perhaps the food, which can see major improvement. The only reason to give 4 star review. As food is usually oily and dry. Overall, I won't recommend this place to all those who would like to visit a silent place surrounded by beautiful mountains and have sip of coffee or a chilled beer.

The place to be in Dehradun if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of the city, located a bit off-road it paints a picture of calm and peace. The cottage is located besides a river stream and to utilise it they have ample seating outside as well as a good sitting arrangement inside their cafe. We stopped here for drinks, they gave us free peanuts and we also tried their fried vegetables which was good and had decent quantity. Recommended for a day’s getaway or just to go to a peaceful place.

This place is serene and calm . View is good Food is average Alfredo pasta was tasteless Chilly Mushroom and corn 🌽 were okay . Nice place to hangout .

The overall food quality was very poor. The pizza base was overburnt, and the French fries seemed refried and stale. The oil used for the paneer tikka and kebab appeared to be reused multiple times, giving the food an unpleasant taste and smell. There was a wedding event going on, so maybe the kitchen was overloaded, but still, the food quality was not up to the mark. Very disappointing experience.

The staff has no commitment, extremely pathetic place , they have outside seating but I believe they did not think that during evening there will be mosquitos and they have no remedy for this. I suggest if you have 1 day for 1 meal then you may visit. I am writing after placing my order an hour ago and still looking at empty table.

Great location, really bad food. I wonder how riverstone cottage is running their restaurant so far. We were served stale chicken. Menu was not in place, we ordered certain things, were served entirely different dishes and were asked that this is what you ordered. Totally unprofessional food services. Thanks but no thanks.

Very pathetic service. Staff ignores you when you call them, had to ask for cutlery thrice. Food is below average, ordered veg platter which was extremely bad.
