1.About Food- A small food place to cater your  'all- mood' food needs. From fresh bakes to brews, from customized starters and main course to freshly made dessert, this place has it all.  If i say they have amazingly exotic menu, trust me i won't be hyping at all. The spanish white garlic and tortilla soup is to die for(really you gotta try it).Even the simplest of the soups like lemon coriander noodle soup was amazing. My another absolute favourite was 'Grilled Fish  Garlicky with lemon butter sauce'. It was heavnly, the Fish was well cooked but the sauce took the cake.. it was insanely amazing. Also they serve the best pasta and Mezze platter. If you visit this place- don't forget to include these in your list.  :) 2.About Place-Located at the heart of the city , in Astelly Hall, near Mc Donalds. Sal and cravings is undoubtedly one of the best (yet underrarted) fine-dines of Dehradun. Their 'open kitchen' concept is sure to serve you the best and unique culinary experience. Well open kitchen not only ensure the transparency but at times also  provides you the opportunity to alter or customize your order(even last minutes- because you can see at what stage your order is at ). This ways you get to see, hear, smell , eat and overall have a blissful experience of your food. This place is among few (and the best) places in Doon ,for formal meetings, dates, peaceful talks and also for your family  lunch or dinners.Appears to be an expensive experience in terms of charges, but personally nothing more than what any decent food place ought to charge. For 2 people- 800-1000 Rs.

This is indeed an all time favorite! My visit to Doon is incomplete without a visit to Salt and Cravings. Have to eat here, atleast once on the trip. This visit was on Saturday, November 3, 2018. We were there for lunch. Location. 4/5 Main Rajpur road. Parking can be an issue here. Ambience 4/5 Lovely cafe. Well done interiors and neat and tidy. Nice sitting arrangement. Well maintained washrooms. Service. 5/5 The staff was very cordial and courteous. Helpful in every way. Food. 5/5 Considering it’s a restaurant in a small city, they have excellent food. The pastas here can be compared with any good restaurants in Delhi. We ordered Napolitana, Arrabiata. Both were Fantastic! The ice tea and mojito were equally good. The slice of chocolate truffle was great too. Must visit!

One of the best new york cheesecake ever !!! Mark my words peeps i have had cheesecake all over Gurgaon & Delhi this place beats them all. The cheese is just perfect creamy & buttery at the same time with a tang to it. The gooye crust make is even better . I completely drool over the nyc style cheesecake along with the blueberry cheesecake. Also their lemmon & chocolate tarts are a treat not to be missed . The crust of the tarts is just gooye enough for the flavoured creme. One of the best classy desert place doon has over the much hyped onces .

Salt and Cravings, a part of the renowned Hotel President, is located in Astley Hall,Rajpur Road.Great ambience,Great food, welcoming staff and prompt service. What else do we need.We had ordered 3 Cafe Latte, Poutine, Cheesy Pesto Pasta and 2 Mud Pies.Every item we tasted was good and fresh.Spent nearly 1400 bucks there.Absolutely recommended.

Good music, good ambience and crowd. Food was good as well. One can try their variety of cakes. I have one good memory attached to this place.

Expensive but totally worth it.. Tried prawns which were neatly done. great variety in their menu. Live kitchen creates a good ambience.....

After 3 visits to this place I realized that the Italian food at this place is just Wowwww!!!! The ambience is superb. Specifically if you are fond of the Lebanese platter please do try theirs. I have had Hummus at a lot of places but theirs is very smooth and yummilicious. The only reason I missed on one star is that the waiters could be a little more trained and adjusted to the menu and of course a smile on the servers face always adds a grace to the food. All in all it's a must visit!!!!!

A nice place for formal dinner or date ... The place is really good for fine dine , the staff is friendly , the ambiance is good... Tried falafel hummus and cheesy Mexican burrito the food was good ...But this serves the best Tiramisu in town .... It cost around 800-1000 for two ....
