So a few days ago I visited this place by the name of “Y cafe” in Dehradun (Uttarakhand) on Subhash road, behind St. Joseph’s academy. The moment you walk thru the gates you get transferred to another place and another era. You will not find the normal hustle and bustle of this busy city inside the premises of this property. With such green lawns inclusive of outdoor seating the building itself is quite vintage. The colour palette of the cafe gives you the feels of an English era coffee house, however, with a contemporary menu. With the worldwide pandemic global citizens are facing, Team Y is taking every precautionary measure they can in their power to ensure healthy, safe and hygienic food. Not only are they noting the temperature of their visitors and employees but also sanitising the whole place periodically. I’ve made an attempt to capture the serenity of this place. If I were to give my opinion I would ask each and every one of you to visit this place at least once to feel and enjoy not only the ambience and positive vibe but also their ever tempting food. Again these guys killed it in not just the aspect of taste but presentation of food too. For all that I tried the menu was vast and extremely scrumptious. Definitely recommend a visit. Well I shall leave the review of the food for another day. One of the better places in Dehradun, otherwise food around the town was extremely disappointing. Had the Grilled Chicken burger which was really nice along with the Chicken Sizzler which also was really good. The portions are decent and the prices aren't too high alone, really reasonable. If I am ever in Dehradun again, would definitely visit this place

A very good restaurant with a unique experience. It has all the different varieties of fast food which cannot be eaten by a single person alone comfortably if he has not taken fast from the morning. A very nice restaurant.

One of the best ambience you will ever see in the city. Lot of Novels, most of them you have already read. Morever, star lights, green windows were amazing.

It is a cozy place situated in a quite place, behind St. Joseph's Academy. I would also like to point it out that the map present in the Zomato link isn't correct. Now, coming to the review - the ambiance is pretty amazing. Vintage sort of vibe. Every nook and corner has been given close attention and it is surrounded with greenery too . There were 2 downsides - first was that a lot of items on the menu were not available. I asked for 3-4 dishes/beverages but they weren't available. Secondly, I ordered white sauce pasta (Penne Alfredo) but it wasn't good. Not satisfactory.

Stunning!!😍 Stunning the word to describe the interiors here!! Had a chance to visit this place during my visit to Dehradun.⛰️ The pictures I have posted describes it all. But let me warn you, don't expect good food. I expected and was disappointed by every single dish I tried.☹️ Veg. And Chicken burgers were burnt and out of taste. They were more like a sandwich than a burger. Also tried Blueberry shake which tasted very fake. But I would still suggest you to visit this place for its ambience. Please let me know how your experience was. 😀

I visited this cafe for a short meeting and we had cold coffee & strawberry shake but I'm really disappointed with both and staff is very lazy... But I really love the ambience with cute and small library theme... There was little smell of breads like burning May be coz of live kitchen... Need to be improve

it is cute little place it is the part of white house hotel ... I really loved there ambience ,bibliophile should must visit this place , the food is OK OK the quality can be improved and even the service

worthless place not going to visit again . The service is too low even we guys r searching for waiter . No tissue is there we had pizza that was so bad no taste at all and drinks are ok . Coffee was good only one this gud at least and so much disturbance there it’s look like meeting room . 2-3 meeting was going there it doesn’t feel like cafe at all.
