After spending couple of days and eating Tibetan foods, thought of trying my all time favourite Mughal dishes and walked into this restaurant. We ordered tanduri chicken and hyderabadi Biriyani. The taste of both the food was really awesome and mouth watering. Behaviour of the staffs were also very nice(special mention Ashok). The ambience is cool, all walls are having posters of famous Bollywood movies and their dialogues. I’d highly recommend to give it a try.

Biriyani and fried rice both are well cooked.. and good in quantity. It is a family restaurant.. staffs are polite.

Khan Uncle is one of the popular budget-friendly option in MG Marg. With a brilliant Bollywood-based ambiance, Khan Uncle is well-known for its biryani here. Many variety of Biryani is available, but it keeps getting out of stock. Biryanis are light but dry. So, make sure to keep your water handy. :: PRO :: 1. The service is pin perfect; quite friendly. 2. You can get a lot of option for Biryani here like Kolkata and Hyderabadi Biryani. 3. The walls of the restaurant has Bollywood caricature and memes. You can go through the puns and laugh, while you wait for tour food. :: CON :: 1. Although the biryanis are the light, these are a bit dry. Frequent sips of water would be required. 2. Although the menu is long, most of the items remains unavailable. Must Try: Kolkata Biryani

One of the most famous Roll and Biryani Joint in Gangtok and that too located at the most prime tourist destination, this establishment has made quite a name for itself. One of the major reasons for its success is the lack of proper competition but nevertheless, the food was reasonably good and nothing much to complain about other than the slightly exorbitant prices. The Kolkata Style Chicken Biryani which I tried was genuinely good and the Roll was great as well.

Coming from lachung and lachen we were calmly looking for a kabab and biriyani. It's really hard to find Calcuttan style food. But finally through zomato we found the place. It is located on Mg Marg. Another things if you love the filmy ambiance and bollywood plz go to the place, surely charming your mood.

Visited this place 2 years ago. They serve very good quality of biryani at a very reasonable price. Their rolls are also great, must try. They can work on their dining area. Quality and Quantity👍 Price👍

Neat and clean resturant with very good service. Biriyani is not great but good. Location is good and resturant is also specious.

Biryani tasted good, however it was too dry... the 3 star is because of the service... very arrogant staff.. .. within a minute of ordering I wanted to change my order, the staff said nehi so sakta hai, khana baan gaya... is anyone to believe it... the only reason I would not recommend is because of the staff

Pls dont order. The food is worse than your mothers cooking. They have added just salt to chicken biryani. Mfs. Looting customers. Charging high prices. I hope the manager dies. Ram nam satya hai.

Waste of money. Please don't go there for a Biryani. They have lost the taste and the quality which they have 4 years ago.
